Ben-2000 Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Hopefully another 10k at Ewood affair It's not the Youth cup this time, so just the one leg at their place (should we be beat Bury, the date of which is still TBC). Don't think it'd reach that kind of attendance this time with the regular 1st team games now - but should still be a decent showing and i'd certainly go along!

Parsonblue Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 It's not the Youth cup this time, so just the one leg at their place (should we be beat Bury, the date of which is still TBC). Don't think it'd reach that kind of attendance this time with the regular 1st team games now - but should still be a decent showing and i'd certainly go along! with it being a reserve fixture it may well be played in the afternoon behind closed doors. The Rovers played their first round tie against Rochdale at Brockhall in the afternoon, although fans were allowed to attend.
Ben-2000 Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Burnley usually play theirs at Turf Moor, hopefully that would still be the case.
Ben-2000 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 The Bury game has been arranged for 2nd April... http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/shakers-test-in-senior-cup-1374025.aspx
Backroom Madon Posted February 25, 2014 Backroom Posted February 25, 2014 Burnley usually play theirs at Turf Moor, hopefully that would still be the case.Thought Burnley played theirs at Accringtons ground?
Ben-2000 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Thought Burnley played theirs at Accringtons ground? Their previous Lancs Cup games this season have been at Turf Moor, not sure about their standard reserve games.
Backroom Mike E Posted February 26, 2014 Backroom Posted February 26, 2014 SSN saying David Raya has signed his first professional contract.
chaddyrovers Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 SSN saying David Raya has signed his first professional contract. on the Rovers official website this morning. David Raya is a Spanish goalkeeper. been here for 2 years now. http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/raya-pens-pro-deal-1383903.aspx
Swanson Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Tim Payne played 90 mins and had an assist in New Zealand's 4-2 defeat against Japan,
Backroom Tom Posted March 14, 2014 Backroom Posted March 14, 2014 U21 v Liverpool tonight on Liverpool TV on sky which is free to air I think
SoldierMo Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Etuhu enjoying himself on 35k a week...Dervon green and king on the wings look good full of pace
chaddyrovers Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 IMO, Rovers are playing some good passing football. players who have impress so far imo is King, Green,.Rittenberg and Payne. Rovers should 3 or 4 nil up. also playing 4-5-1 aswell
Backroom Tom Posted March 14, 2014 Backroom Posted March 14, 2014 Wasn't it Devarn Green that's meant to be faster than Walcott?
Backroom Tom Posted March 14, 2014 Backroom Posted March 14, 2014 Etuhu could still be of use if he was fit and motivated alongside Evans
Backroom Tom Posted March 14, 2014 Backroom Posted March 14, 2014 Caught some of the second half and Green looks comfy on the ball and Raya and Tumwa look like good prospects (from that brief glimpse)
tomphil Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Only watched 1st half but King looked fine. Surely enough to be on bench for first team. Is this another financial thing I wonder.
donnermeat Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Only watched 1st half but King looked fine. Surely enough to be on bench for first team. Is this another financial thing I wonder. Said the same to my mate on Wednesday night.
Stuart Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Only watched 1st half but King looked fine. Surely enough to be on bench for first team. Is this another financial thing I wonder. It does make you wonder if bonuses or clauses are being avoided. There have been too many players 'injured' or who are rumoured to be 'bad eggs' as excuses not to play - only a couple of whom have taken to Twitter in frustration.Roberts, Salgado, Formica, Vukcevic, Nelsen, Olsson, Etuhu, Best, Dann - although we all knew Dann was off.
dingles staying down 4ever Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Only watched 1st half but King looked fine. Surely enough to be on bench for first team. Is this another financial thing I wonder. Don't think so. They rushed him back at Christmas and looked what happened. Look how long it took them to get Evans back to first team football. But you could be right. Nothing surprises at this club.
unleaded Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Very impresive first half ... Hit the woodwork 3 times This Aussie kid Tanner looks the Real Deal..... Such quick feet and seems to have a lot of time on the ball......
Ricky Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Surprised Payne hasn't kicked on. Looked a decent player and was involved in the Olympics 2 years ago but really hasn't pushed on as expected.
