McClarky Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I don't think they can get more can they? Thought they were restricted by the amount of Hill Billy Wagons they could fit on the carpark behind the DE.

only2garners Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 That's my understanding - the 4,200 is based on bus space, not seats in the DE. Given they are keeping sections on either side free in the same way as in the Riverside and JW stands, then i imagine that will be it anyway.
only2garners Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 That's assuming they use double deckers.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I used to love double deckers, brinsley forde & Melvyn Hayes - great tv!
ABBEY Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 It's still more than the sister humpers give us
MarkBRFC Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Wouldn't have mattered if the dingles give us 6000 tickets would it? Didn't less than 2500 bother?
tomphil Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Wouldn't have mattered if the dingles give us 6000 tickets would it? Didn't less than 2500 bother? 3400 was the total available, approx 2500 pitched up BUT they've sold out because they are fighting for promotion no other reason. Still a good effort given all the ballache involved but last season they had 4k allocated and had a handfull left. If they where midtable they'd only likely be bringing around 2/3k.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 They would have sold outm even if they were midtable...it's their cup final!
JAL Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Burnley have stated unequivocally from day one that 4,500 was their complete allocation and they would not be requesting or receiving any more Nor were they on "open sale" at any time. Thats 1500 tickets far too many.

Blue n whites Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Absolute joke if we can't sell over 20k in the home ends. Most passionate derby.? Every game is a cup final til the end of this season, not just for the glory of winning but potentially stopping our likely demise and financial meltdown. But even mentioning that is irrelevant. It's OUR derby, buy a ticket, support the colours and shout verbals at our inbred cousins, nothing more or less.

I agree, but telly will kill it.....I'll be there, we only have one game before it, so may depend on Sat's result, win, and we have momentum too!
West Yorks Rover Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Today's result should ensure a good away following at the Reebok.
Ben-2000 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Well look at it this way We have 10,500 ST holders & 4,500 Dingles, meaning we need just 5,000 walk on's to reach 20,000. Tickets look to be selling well so no reason why it won't. No doubt they will bleat on about bringing more away that we did, but by the same token there will be a lot more home fans that they had at their place.
tomphil Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Today's result should ensure a good away following at the Reebok. Not sure at those prices. Bolton have gone back to being the rip off merchants they were before the cheap deals came in. Go back a decade it was a dear price and we often only used to take 1400 in the lower tier. Sat in the home stands a few times for this fixture.

Sat in the home stands a few times fo Point taken ! but an unexpected result today, probably the best of the season so far, plus it's a 3pm Saturday KO, should help a bit. How much are they charging btw ?

How much are they charging btw ? 1400 @ £29 lower tier then if they all go it's £33 freakin quid in the upper. Complete joke for Championship footy As far as i know the first lot haven't sold out yet so it doesn't look good. Hopefully as you say today will give it a boost.
Husky Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 I'm still on medication after that shambles almost 2 years ago. Worst game of football I've ever seen. Might have to visit the doctor again next week and ask him if he can up the dose.

I think Bolton's attendances will be the lowest for many a year next season, when a few thousand ST holders give up, after the rubbish they've had to watch all season. They were boosted by a close thing at the end of last season, many saying they will give them one last chance, well that won't happen this time. Seriously bad times ahead for BWFC, not sure it makes me feel any better about our situation though, financially that is.
barry_ Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Haven't we taken a sizeable number to the Reebok the last few seasons?
Paul Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Today's result should ensure a good away following at the Reebok. I very much doubt it. After the usual Reebok shambles last year we haven't even discussed going. One of two things would persuade me to go: Sensible pricing. This game isn't worth the £58 for two tickets plus travel. Probably looking at £80 for the day. Possibility of a decent game and result. Bolton are awful, Rovers are dreadfully inconsistent. This has very scrappy 0-0 written all over it. So in a nutshell I'm not forking out £80 to watch a poor game and be herded around like cattle. The solution is in the hands of both clubs - not that they care about that or have any intention of addressing the problem.

The Bolton lot i know from Chorley threw at duck fit because we charged them £25 this season. A lot of them didn't go because of it. They'll be the same ones giving out stick about our possible crap following this time totally ignoring the prices. Very blinkered them notlobers.
