Cannot see that is fair on Bowyer to make this game such a defining moment.

Is the guy biulding ..........yes I believe so.........is he making mistakes still ...........yes

Use the board to lobby him by all means and I certainly am going on about our midfield but more insatbility now will put us back another season if not more.

I still think we have to give the guy a chance. Don't forget Burnley were mid table last season.

Normally I would say that one game should not define anything but is it really one game? Since Christmas, where Rovers were in a decent position to kick on for a promotion charge, he seems to have gone backwards. Examples include sticking with the same tactics, only having 2 central defenders, bringing in loan players with no time to gel them in.

If there is a surrender like the Bolton game, I can see fans who have backed him to this point turning.

Bowyer will lose his goodwill with the fans , if defeated today....

If we lose today all fans will be sore and have a moan - myself included. Especially if Willow plays again.

But on the whole Bowyer is doing a good job in my opinion.

Just about to set off from Glasgow, my only consolation for the long trip is that - in all likelihood - the hideous Dingle family will soon have to congregate somewhere near their crumbling excuse of a football ground to spend a similar length of time travelling just ten or so miles.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly nervous about today, but that is surely part of why we do this.

Whichever 14 young men are selected to represent us today, you owe it to every single Blackburn Rovers supporter - alive, dead and yet to be born - as well as those that have worn the shirt with passion before you - to make the return trip for that unfortunate set of interbred lackwit bumpkins as miserable as it can possibly be.

If you can't provide the Arte, you have no excuse for a lack of Labore.

COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!

My other half's final day with me, before we're separated for 6 weeks, so I can't put her through whatever terrible roller coaster of panic, fear and joy today's match will turn out to be. At least, that's how I feel now. Was planning to be out all day, but looks like we'll be in for most. Not sure I can resist checking in during the match.

I feel sick. I'm normally able to rationalise this sort of situation, but what could follow on from the various possible outcomes of the match induce too many emotions. A win could catalyse a very late surge for us and a loss could be quite destructive.

Nevertheless, the objective statistics put us in a strong position to win this. Any other club and I think we'd all be expecting a win. They've had a good year, no dispute from me, but when you look closely, they're nothing special. They're well-organised and have a good motivator, with two forwards who are having the best seasons they're likely to have in their careers.

We, on the other hand, are Blackburn @#/? Rovers.

3-1 and a playoff final showdown.

Hope you'll be like me and nervously watchin the drama unfold online, as I'm in a similar situation to you with my better half about to leave for a considerable time.

This will be the biggest match of Bowyer's career so far. Despite the fear and angst there is a weight of expectation on him and the team today. Berg had the history, Appleton had the luck. Does Bowyer have the tactics, motivation, or ambition for this one?

It won't be about the defeat, it will be about the manner, the approach to the game, the tactics. If Bowyer tries to kill the game and aim for 0-0 from the start it will make a big difference to giving it a real good go and losing 2-1.

I await the starting line up before daring with a COYB but whatever happens today, I will face the music tomorrow. Let's hope it's the Blues!
