garnersfags Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 That's the attacking line up demanded by the fans, GB has given us what we wanted, Dunny will do the rest, as long as he can reign in the emotion. Bring. It. On.

davulsukur Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Great to see Evans in the middle. Is Varney anygood on the wing?
den Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Henley and Keane are the unknowns, but that's a decent side well capable of winning.
Neal Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Looks an attacking lineup. Is Gestede on the bench? yeah, would of started him and brought Dunny on for last half hour. Think we needed his physicality against Duff & Shackell... Rhodes isn't physical enough.
Backroom Tom Posted March 9, 2014 Backroom Posted March 9, 2014 Glad Dunny and Evans are in though I've seen nothing of Varney and Keane will barely know his teammates Just get at them early and don't sit back
Bundesburn Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 yeah, would of started him and brought Dunny on for last half hour. Think we needed his physicality against Duff & Shackell... Rhodes isn't physical enough. I think you need Dunn starting for morale. Getting the passion across to the other players. Mixing it up with Gestede later on against a tired back four will have a big effect.
den Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Make 'em play in areas of the pitch that they don't want to be in.
Backroom Tom Posted March 9, 2014 Backroom Posted March 9, 2014 In fact I'm happy Varney is starting out wide he may not be a glamour player but we need grafters who will work back today We'll find out a lot about keane today as well, debut 2 days after signing against the best strike force in the lead and our bitter rivals live on sky Some would let it affect them and others would thrive on it
Neal Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 I think you need Dunn starting for morale. Getting the passion across to the other players. Mixing it up with Gestede later on against a tired back four will have a big effect. Unless it's already game over. I feel Dunnys trickery against a tiring back 4 would of been more useful.
LondonRovers Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Just heading to the pub to get comfy. There is a resident dingle who drinks in the pub which is run by a blackburn fan. Should be a good atmosphere!! Not as good as ewood though!!
Dunnfc Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Nervous, Bad feeling we are going to lose but im going to put this essay to one side and just enjoy the two hours of proper football from proper teams.
Neal Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 My biggest worry is Henley... Think he'll get roasted.
AdamRochina Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 They made putting the ball in the net look very easy..big let off..they are growing into this now
Stuart Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Is it any wonder I don't like Jason Lowe. He's been responsible for Burnley's best moments so far.
G Somerset Rover Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Adam Henley too. He's just far too hesitant.
G Somerset Rover Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 No pace either. Need a King or Feeney on to give us an outlet. 30% possession at home so far...
AdamRochina Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Who the hell are we hoofing it too? No one to win them and if we do win one we lose it within seconds
Joar Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Burnley with better pressure, and better movement. Way to much space between Rovers players in defence, and too static on the ball...
AdamRochina Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Kinda realise why i was so nervous for this game now lol
M-K Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 The writing is on the wall here, unless Rhodes suddenly remembers how to score (completey isolated, against two defenders who are both faster than him)
