I'm still livid about what they have done but for 90 minutes at a match I can honestly say they don't cross my mind, when I'm there its about the match and the team getting a result

Along with everyone else there I just hope the players can match your ninety minutes of commitment tonight Tom M unlike last sunday.

I don't think many of the people who "won't" go (as opposed to don't want to any more for various reasons) to games, are doing it to help deal with their anger, they're doing it because they won't back what's happening at the club. Now in my opinion, the fans who aren't prepared to do anything at all and continue to attend games are kidding themselves if they think they aren't backing them.

I don't include myself in the above bracket Parson. I've been to some games this season, but not all. However I'm not naive enough to think that when I do go, that I'm not backing the owners. Whether that matters in the big scheme of things is another argument.

Absolutely Bryan.

Not really sure how it is "backing them" by attending. Those that stay away are influencing things how ? if you believe that vocal support can help a team win matches - the only harm they are doing is to the team they support ?

Personally I leave it to people to decide on what they feel - and won't call people either way. Last season I refused to get a season ticket on principle as they hadn't sacked Kean - very daftly I then attended most matches anyway. In the future - don't really know - at the moment they aren't doing too much wrong and (though we should always learn from the past) I prefer to look forward than constantly dwelling on what went before. Yes - they are to blame for where we are now - but they haven't (yet) cut and run. Do I trust them - no as they haven't done anything yet to earn that - but at the moment I will enjoy the current calm and just enjoy watching matches.

I would love to have renewed my season ticket in the summer if the proper changes had been made, ie proper manager, some funds etc but I swore to myself that I wouldn't return otherwise. I went in the dark days under kidd when we were drawing 0-0 with port vale and getting beat off crewe etc so no one needs tell me that im not a proper supporter. I just wont back these corrupt clowns and if that means not returning until they have gone, so be it!!!

I didn't say the people attending are doing harm, neither would I tell people what to do. However, like it or not when you/I go down there you are/ I am giving your support to the club. That's how Shaw, Venky's will see it and in honesty, rightly so. Why wouldn't they?

It's only a debating point!

you do, clearly enough to respond to it

Well I was interested in your comments. I took the same decision last year, maintaining an illusion that anything I did mattered etc. I think I just had to make some kind of personal stand...I still went to loads of games, though, and the ones I didn't attend, I still kept in touch via text or radio.

If not for my kids, I think I might have broken the habit.

This week I have been very conscious not to let my huge disappointment on Sunday become merely another valve for expressing my all consuming, anti Venky rage. Even I can see some signs of stability this season. Even I can see things might have looked very different without injuries to key players and goalkeeping howlers.

I think my real frustration has been the huge mismatch between an apparent promotion or bust line and both transfer policy and defensive tactics. Also, I am not convinced we could ever get out of this division without an experienced manager. Having said that, Gary has had a very difficult context in which to work..

I have given up on this dustbin season, but I don't think it would take too much to transfer the current team into promotion contenders next year.We all know the positions that need strengthening...but does anyone in Pune even care?

I'm determined to enjoy the rest of this season as much as I can. I admit there will be no promotion or chance of promotion at the end.

However we are safe from relegation barring a major catastrophe (like having points deducted).

I am enjoying watching the rebuilding of a good young team after the shambles of the past two years. I can only hope that we continue to be bankrolled from Pune and that the team develops into a better one.

Tonight COYB

Obvious what this game will be - 1-0, and hanging on for the last 20mins. Bournemouth if they have any quality up top, may get a 1-1.

Rubbish. Who are you supporting, because it certainly isn't Blackburn Rovers anymore.

Is it not? It's the team I have been supporting all my life and they certainly still play at Ewood Park in Blue and White shirts.

Far more excited to see you lot argue with each other, than to watch tonight's game.

Will it be a convincing victory? If so, we'll see the likes of Chaddy and BlackpoolRover make an internet entrance like a WWF superstar, flames and fireworks telling all the doubters that they are all too negative, we're going to get into the play offs and people should be better fans.

Will to be a 0-0 boring draw? In which case we'll see a massive argument break out over who's to blame - Bowyer, Rhodes or the lack of creativity in midfield. Here's hoping for a bore draw, I thoroughly enjoy the old 'WHY HASNT THE @#/? MIDFIELD BEEN SORTED OUT YET? AND WHAT THE @#/? IS A LIAM FEENEY?" posts.

Or will it be a convincing loss, in which case the "doom bringers" like K-Hod & proudtobeblueandwhite will royally kick off, making sure every last person knows that it's all Bowyers fault and we're utter @#/?.

Who knows, but I'm excited. Are you?

I'm off there soon. Just a couple of days of 'what's the point, omg the season is over' nonsense and I'm back. LOL!

Heard quite a few people aren't going since we lost to Burnley. But a couple of defeats isn't really a reason to stop going.....or you may as well get down to Sports Direct and buy a Chelsea/Man City shirt or whatever.

If nothing else - at least mobile phone lights will look pretty in the dark. SWEEEEETTTT! ^_^

Bit uncalled for, love us to win, just as always, not a major GB doubter....in the "he makes mistakes, doesn't learn brigade", like to see where I have "royally kicked off"? Thanks for the name check though.
