Mike Graham Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 So Bowyer appears to have lost the players and the majority of our remaining and declining fan base. Where do we go next? Clearly the Rao family are hated to the core by Rovers fans and GB is seen as a nice but ineffective chappie. Pleasington playing fields, Lancashire United or new owners? Is remaining with the Poona loons a viable future?

Mr. E Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Every single last effort we have left must be aimed at driving Venkys out of this club. When Kean left, it was a big relief, but we always knew that Venkys are the main problem, and no matter how many little glimpses of progress we see thanks to a new player or a new manager who does things a little better than his predecessor, unless we swim out of this ocean of dung called Venkys which has been dragging us further and further down since the moment they stepped into the club...there is simply no reason to hope for something better. Things are very painful right now.
ABBEY Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 IF FANS WANTED TO..EVERY FAN SHOULD BE PROTESTING ,,,BUT THEY WONT..THE LIKES OF CHADDY,SPARK ETC HAVE JELLY FISH SPINES AND EYES THAT ONLY SEE HUNKY DORY... Rovers Fans OWN THE FAN BASE .
roverzee Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 What we really need next is for some attention seeking nonentity to create a new topic which will be exactly the same as 23 existing topics. Well done.
thenodrog Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Indeed so roverzee.Basically and I'm prob being defeatist but the further we fall then liquidation no longer seems like the end of the world. It's like putting an old and faithful dog down, heartbreaking at the time but one will soon get over it when a new puppy arrives.
booth Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 That's what Vinjay thought when he defected to Man City.

Glad to see that you are yet again judging and commenting on people you dont even know but lets have at peopleNobody has said everything Hunky Dory at all but NOT everybody see everything like you do. what are we protesting about? and against who?
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted March 13, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted March 13, 2014 I think the players are so accustomed to failure that it doesn't bother them that much when it happens. They need a proverbial 'rocket up their backsides'.
CAPT KAYOS Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 what are we protesting about? and against who? I think that answers exactly what Abbey was getting at. GAME OVER
McClarky Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 A chrocic lack of leadership runs right through this club. We have owners who have little involvement and still seem to have no idea what they're doing, no strong leader at the club to run things day to day, a novice manager and no leaders on the pitch. Unless this is sorted out we are heading downwards. I don't care how many talented young players we have and I don't care what a nice chap the manager is but the whole situation is a recipe for disaster. The only place any improvement can start is at the top so it's VENKYS OUT for me or we are heading into oblivion. I would rather see us going quickly and starting again at the bottom than this current lingering death by a thousand cuts because at least we still have some kind of fan base in place. Just imagine how many will still be coming along after another 3 years of this mismanagement.

I agree with all of the first paragraph and would add that with it comes no structure, no gameplan, no direction which ultimately leads to lack of motivation, headless chickens (no pun intended) and the haphazard signing of players simply because they're available. Why need it be so? it's not rocket science. As for the final paragraph, I'd agree with the exception of starting at the bottom. Why the hell Venkys have never been able to entrust their funding to people who know what they're doing with regards to both football and Blackburn Rovers, I'll never be able to fathom. It's no wonder conspiracy theories abound. Where's the logic? Is FC Rovers of Blackburn playing at WEC Anchor Ground an alternative?
LDRover Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I think the players are so accustomed to failure that it doesn't bother them that much when it happens. They need a proverbial 'rocket up their backsides'. Nail on head again. There's been a losing culture around the club for the past 3 years that means it's accepted all too readily.

Glad to see that you are yet again judging and commenting on people you dont even know but lets have at people Nobody has said everything Hunky Dory at all but NOT everybody see everything like you do. what are we protesting about? and against who? darrenrover Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 The Raos destruction of Blackburn Rovers simple really Why not Ewood Park Why wait? North West Counties League First Div. Leek Catholic Schools Old Boys at home on Saturday, should be a cracker. Bonus is I believe they don't run out of pies at half time either. I'm sure rational thinking people can't see that as the best option. It's almost as bonkers as Venky's stewardship to date.

You are being obtuse, why assume we have to start at that level, don't forget that 10 points deduction is 1st step
McClarky Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 We have fallen a long way in 3 years and it's not pushing it so far to say I would expect to be in Division 4 in 3 years time if Venkys carry on propping us up and doing nothing else as owners of the club. We are bound to go bust at some stage so rather sooner than later as the sooner it happens the sooner we can start to come back. Receivership means a points deduction and a probable relegation.
roverandout Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 lets do nothing, everything is great, venkys are the kings, bowyer is a genious and the players give a @#/?
darrenrover Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 You are being obtuse, why assume we have to start at that level, don't forget that 10 points deduction is 1st step I am to a point yoda admittedly. Problem is none of us can really assume anything. If it were only as 'simple' as a ten point deduction following admin, and off we pop. We're all @#/? off to the back teeth and have plenty of sensible questions that we answer ourselves as a result of the perpetually idiotic Pune vacuum.
