gumboots Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 I thought you were going to say he was on it and suspicion was falling on Rovers fans desperate never to have him back at the club.

colin Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Why is every even number the sum of two prime numbers?
Stuart Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Because you don't understand that 1 isn't a prime number? Ruling out 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12....
Paul Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Why is every even number the sum of two prime numbers? I think that's logical rather than mysterious. With the exception of "2" even numbers can be divided by more than two whole numbers, a prime number can only be divided by "1" or itself. Adding two odd numbers must result in an even number. As prime numbers, except "2," must be odd numbers if you do the addition the answer must even. I'm no mathmatician but that is how it seems to me PS - "2" isn't the sum of two prime numbers so the original statement is incorrect.
Amo Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 One mystery MIGHT be closer to being solved. Malaysian Plane was kidnapped & Shebby Singh is leading the investigation... Joking aside, it certainly is incredible that with all our modern technology we can't find ONE Boeing jet. Very unusual that no terrorist groups has claimed credit for it, either. Whether responsible or not. Moreover, it's been a handy distraction from the Ukraine crisis, hasn't it? What's REALLY going on?
bazza Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 What happened to the crew of the Marie Celeste ? Have you never seen that episode of Doctor Who when the tardis accidentally landed/ appeared on the bow of the Marie Celeste and later took off/ disappeared again? Credit to that playwright.
jim mk2 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 The only logical solution to the Malaysia jet mystery is that it has been abducted by aliens. I'm looking forward to the Hollywood film already.

Amo Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 The disappearance of Bobby Dunbar is a unique and fascinating one. Back in 1912 Bobby Dunbar (aged 4) went on a fishing trip with his pop and disappeared. After an eight month search they spotted a boy matching Bobby's appearance travelling with a man called William Cantwell Walters. Walters insisted the boy had been entrusted to him by Julia Anderson, a woman who worked for the Walters family. To cut a long story short, the courts ruled that this boy was the missing Dunbar boy and returned him to his family and Walters was imprisoned for two years for kidnap. 90 years later, one of Bobby's granddaughters started investigating to prove beyond doubt that her grandfather was a Dunbar. In 2004, she asked her father (Bobby Dunbar Jr) to take a DNA test, and he consented. To their shock, they discovered that "Bobby Dunbar" was NOT related to the Dunbars after all. What happened to the real Bobby Dunbar remains a mystery to this day.
Baz Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Sounds like the co-pilot is now the prime suspect of why MH370 went missing. The first communication device was switched off before he last spoke to the air traffic centre and he obviously has access to the cockpit and knows what he's doing. There was a case some time ago of another Asian airline, maybe Tiger or Silk, where the pilot had racked up tons of debt and just decided to top himself and his passengers. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a similar case for the co-pilot. Guess we'll have to wait and see what the authorities turn up. Todays news is that the pilot has his own homebuilt flight simulator, which he has deleted recent flight data from.
Audax Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 And today's news has them looking in the South Indian Ocean per satellite imagery discovered by the Australians: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-26659951 But plenty of speculation it could have ended up in Pakistan still going on, very far away. A real mystery.
Amo Posted April 7, 2014 Author Posted April 7, 2014 The Toynbee tiles are quite interdasting: The Toynbee tiles (also called Toynbee plaques) are messages of unknown origin found embedded in asphalt of streets in about two dozen major cities in the United States and four South American capitals. Since the 1980s, several hundred tiles have been discovered. They are generally about the size of an American license plate (roughly 30 cm by 15 cm), but sometimes considerably larger. They contain some variation on the following inscription: TOYNBEE IDEA IN MOViE `2001 RESURRECT DEAD ON PLANET JUPITER Some of the more elaborate tiles also feature cryptic political statements or exhort readers to create and install similar tiles of their own. The material used for making the tiles was long a mystery, but evidence has emerged that they may be primarily made of layers of linoleum and asphalt crack-filling compound. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toynbee_tiles
Backroom Mike E Posted April 7, 2014 Backroom Posted April 7, 2014 So why did it have to be Brock Lesnar who beat The Undertaker's Streak?
Guest Norbert Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Because it was in the script, and causes more conversation and controversy. Not much of a mystery.
Backroom Mike E Posted April 7, 2014 Backroom Posted April 7, 2014 Because it was in the script, and causes more conversation and controversy. Not much of a mystery. Only just starting to get my head round it tbh. Amazing bit of TV for fans. The silence was golden!
Guest Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 As well as a flaperon being found on Reunion Island, a plane door has now washed up on its shores. Also seen that a plane seat washed up there months ago. Looking more and more likely that this is MH370.
