Bloody hell DMTP !! Why so full of Taylor???

An honest player I agree but bang average, no real pace, not really a creative type and hardly known for his goals. Other than that......

Signing players like him and more recently his Millwall mate plus the likes of Marrow, Judge, Dabo, Songo ,Varney were only ever going to see us in mid table at best.

Not saying I would necessarily start with him - though I do think he adds a little to the midfield to allow us to play Cairney central (when fit). However - there have been several matches recently (Burnley and Bournemouth spring to mind) where I would have used him to add some energy to the midfield rather than the players brought on (Feeney and Williamson).

He's industrious, he will track all day long and works hard in possession. To be fair he'd probably be my choice for the hole when Dunn needs his next holiday. I would like to see us try to sign an athletic player for that role a slightly more talented and younger version. Maybe one with two feet so he's more stable.

2 pages of posts before we play top of the league really speaks volumes. Fans are really disinterested, a win tomorrow would be a sure way to lift spirits but it would also be a reminder of what a waste this season has been and how many other games we should have won.

1-1

If you're out and about and just picking up reports on 5 live, that's my little girl doing them so excuse her if she stumbles over the odd word. It's only the third live reports she's done and they've trusted her to be neutral on it though she'll be agonising if Leicester score being a huge rovers fan

Why am I confident of a Rovers win? There is nothing to back this up.

We've struggled against well organised sides so I should be saying we'll get beat but today I'm confident.

Mind you....this will probably evaporate when I hear Lowe and Williamson are the midfield come 2.15.

I'll go for a tight game with Rovers nicking it at the end with a goal from an unlikely source in the form of Kilgallon with a messy, bundled over the line effort in 2nd half injury time. We will all be joyous and the rest of the teams above us will lose. This will happen because it's my birthday weekend and the cosmos has decided that I deserve a Rovers win as a present.

Can't remember a game with so little interest.

It'll be worth watching just to see what kind of gulf there is - if any - between us and the Champions-elect, and the approaches of the two managers.

Watching Derby last season in the games against us and the odd times on the box I really thought they were just about the worst team in the division. Watching Leicester last season I rightly thought they were the best footballing side in the division so no surprise they've carried it on. In no way do we resemble Leicester but we've similarities to Derby and now look were they are. Time for us to now start showing similar intentions of a Derby upcurve if the manager finally grasps the mettle, no more messing about.

Drove past Ewood and saw a chap get off a Leicester coach and collapse flat out; hope it was just ale and nothing worse :(

Wasn't David Nugent by any chance? (Said he, hopefully)

Just reading in the paper that all matches this weekend will kick off seven minutes late, with a minute's silence at 3:06pm to mark 25 years since Hillsborough.

Excellent. Another 6 minutes in the rain-storm.

25 years ago??? OMG! :(

That isn't until April 11th and 14th.

My first ever. Rovers game was in 1967 against Leicester. I must check the score but somewhere in the back of my mind it was 1-1.

I hope we put in a good performance today and the lads have some confidence after the Uddesfield game. A lot depends on whether Mr Nice Guy (GB) has the ability to motivate the players for a change.

COYB

GB must play Taylor.....we need a player with imagination and who can put in a full shift, he is one of the few who fits the bill.
