Watch it again and still think Keane gets man before ball Gordon

First one is just a bit of physicality both ways ludicrous to blow up at all for me but more obviously a foul on Hanley first

As I said earlier Tom watch the ball.

BBC i player / Football League show / 37 mins in.

btw the more I see Handleys the more I see a foul on him.

I want to see a reduction in our injuries as we lost yet another player yesterday to yet another silly muscular injury.

Cancel the off-season GB, get them in 4-5 times a week and conduct a strength training program based on ankle and knee stability and hip mobility. Without soccer to get in the way you will be able to make some serious improvements. Injuries will decline. If you don't believe it speak to Jack O'Connell at Rochdale, they did it this year and just look at there injury rate, fitness levels and position and there's the proof it could benefit Rovers.

Keith Hill's doing a great job there. I think he could do a great job here in conjunction with Bowyer.

How long have you been following Rovers chaddy?

Maybe you missed this question Chaddy.

Just watched the goals on TV. Their first was never a pen and never a sending off, I feel sorry for Hanley but having said he was very, very slow reacting to the through ball. The second pen, the jury's out for me. If I'd have been Keane I'd have tried to just jockey the player and kept my feet away from trouble. I'm amazed ref's give vital penalties so easily these days, in my day you had to be caught taking the lace out.

I have been a Rovers fan all my life. my first game was the league cup game against Bournemouth on 21st September 1993. This is the game Alan Shearer made his comeback in after his broken leg he suffered against Leeds the season before.

A mere dog watch. You mean after he did his knee against Leeds, he never suffered a broken leg.

I watched it a few times. I'm with Gordon, the direction of the ball suggests that he won the ball.

First one i can understand but could easily have been a freekick for us. Red card was silly but could be argued mandatory.

Second one is just ludicrous.

I am still very suspicious of all these odd decisions there us just too many against and not enough for. The ones against always seem to be pivotal in the result. However being the cynic and having blue tinted specs I would think that way

But its GB who is doing the selecting?? l

Maybe Bowyer thinks Dunny is the one to bring us out of the stability period and lead us for the push for promotion/play-offs/extra stability next season and needs him playing to justify giving him a new contract next season.

Arguably been a key player in his appearances this season but if we going to be entering this brave new world post stability can we afford to have a player who will probably miss at least half the games taking up a spot ? Big big decision for Bowyer

ok then

But that was my first game at Ewood Park.

been a season ticket holder for the last 17 seasons and will be there next season.

TBTF, on the Dunn fitness thing??? Dunn was shattered after 60 mins against Burnley and need replacing quickly than GB did. when Dunn went off, I would have bought on Gestede on.

I don't expect to see Dunn to play on Tuesday at all. On bench at best imo

Cruciate ligament damage not broken leg chaddy.

Contract coming up for renewal

He does have form. :glare:

exactly Chaddy -we all know he's goosed after an hour but if ever there was a case for keeping him out there it was against them Suddenly we are asking him to play full 90 mins at Watford and start again at Millwall-when Cairney is sat bench warming..

Theres a lot of pretty random decisions going on-and none of them really seem to be working judging by one win in 7 and 6 points out the last 21 at a time when we are supposed to be charging towards the playoffs. Too many players to keep happy by any chance, GB ????

Can only agree with chaddy on this one.. We all said round us dunny was knackered . Had to go off but wrong one brought on.

Can only disagree with you both fervently. Was a mystifying decision, he was clearly our only player with any class, capable of making a breakthrough or retaining possession. He was a little tired but nothing worth bringing him off, especially against them. We all know he gets a bit tired after an hour, but against the Dingles he will always find that extra, like his injury time equaliser last year. Taking him off was the moment we lost.

Agreed. It's not like we needed to save him for anything. He would have run himself into the ground. I'll never forget his facetious clap to the Darwen End that day.

If this isn't Dunn's last season there's something wrong. Brilliant player, local lad who has lived the dream we all would have liked but his boots need to be hung up, much like Tugay's before him. The last game of the season should be Dunny Day and then get him involved in the youth set up or club ambassador, or something.

We need to build for the future and, unfortunately, Dunn is part of our (rich) history.
