m1st Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Losing to QPR on Tuesday might signal an end to our "Play-off" hopes. What do others think: would that be a preferable outcome: giving another team an [slight] opportunity to oust the team which gives a "high-6" when they score from the automatic promotion places at the expense of our our Play-off prospects? Remembering that they are currently 10 points ahead of QPR, which would you rather see: us in the Play-offs and them automatically promoted; or not?

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted April 5, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted April 5, 2014 I've resigned myself to them going up automatically, so that's that. We might as well have as strong a finish to the season as possible, to give us a springboard for next season. Their fans talk about minding the gap, which to be fair, this season, is a huge points tally, and they are where they are because they deserve to be. Though this gap-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_football_clubs_in_England_by_major_honours_won#England.27s_most_successful_clubs They've won less than HALF of the trophies we've won in our history, a much bigger gap for them to be concerned with, as, they are ALWAYS concerned (nee obsessed) with what we're up to. Anyway, a digression, those Yorkshire clowns being better than us this season has been winding me up!!
bazza Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I want us to thrash QPR. I'd rather Burnley go up than them. Grabs tin hat and scuttles to bomb shelter
Amo Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Wanting to lose at the expense of our local rivals is a small-time mentality associated with our six-fingered friends. Let's not sink to their level.
yoda Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I want us to thrash QPR. I'd rather Burnley go up than them. Grabs tin hat and scuttles to bomb shelter QPR is the next game, we should go out to win regardless of the dingles, whatever they get, they played for it
Majiball Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 When i saw the headline I was hoping for something naughty like Amarillo's old GIF's
Waggy76 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Liverpool beat us in 95 and we should go out and beat QPR .. Burnley will only be a one season wonder but all credit to them for getting there .....
ABBEY Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Hope bumley lose and us ... They are doing my head in . Cave dwelling dcum
AndyNeil Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I hope we win on Tuesday as 3 points for Rovers come before anything else - its a simple as that.
Majiball Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I hope we win on Tuesday as 3 points for Rovers come before anything else - its a simple as that. Defo, Kean to Bumley, if they go up great for them, they can build the stereo stand they want, WE WON THE @#/? PREMIER LEAGUE!
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Forget about Burnley, they are where they are on merit...I just hope we can do the same next season. Hammer QPR.
chaddyrovers Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Rovers win of course. couldn't get a sh!t about Burnley tbh unless we are playing them
Backroom Tom Posted April 5, 2014 Backroom Posted April 5, 2014 Rovers win all the way, you never know
bob fleming Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 burnley staying down at all costs Sorry Gav. We have to win, every time. Blackburn Rovers Football Club. The rest can look after themselves.
Andy Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Couldn't care less what happens to Burnley. Three points for Rovers is all I care about.
jim mk2 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Rovers to win - no question. I want Burnley to go up, and all the Lancashire town teams to do well. By the way, the title of the thread is incorrect. Because preferable already means more desirable, it is redundant to write more.
Clitherover Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I want us to thrash QPR. I'd rather Burnley go up than them. Grabs tin hat and scuttles to bomb shelter Yes mate, you might well. Now go and wash your mouth out with soap and water.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Burnley deserve to go up and I cant stand Redknapp ( Kean loving @#/?) nothing would amuse me more than them staying down (well actually Burnley blowing it would - but that aint going to happen!) Just hope PNE come up via playoffs this year - a much more civilised replacement for the dingles.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Just hope PNE come up via playoffs this year - a much more civilised replacement for the dingles. Really?....remember all the trouble that happened when we thrashed them at home in the league cup circa '97! Their idiots were drinking in Blackburn town centre all day looking for trouble.
ABBEY Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Nobbers civilised ... Hahaha Funniest and most daftest post of the season. Their fans are crackpots and live in the past just like burnley fans.
McClarky Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 If it was close I'd be tempted but QPR winning won't get them up so we might as well win just to see Arry's hang dog look afterwards. Remember going to Rotherham in early 80s and celebrating a defeat because it just about sent the Dingles down.
Jock Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 PNE civilised, you must be joking. They are the most bitter of the all the Lancashire teams. They go on about how big they are. We all know they've done nothing in living memory and not much before that. Now that the wife beater is dead they have nothing left.
