Very good result. Excellent set of results again. As said above this makes Friday hard to stomach. We are so inconsistent it is unbelievable but we are unbeaten in 11 i think and we are building for next year nicely.

A lot of posters are slating the manager and post instantly to subs, anger after the game etc. even if we just miss out on the playoffs this year, I believe we will be there or thereabouts next year.

Some of the comments about the subs today seem valid, but look at the bench, bear in mind we played on Friday also. I think GB hands are tied massively. We are simply an average team who need to be pulling in the same direction to have any hope of achieving our goal.

I was in the military and was based all over mixing with fans of most clubs, I always used to stick up for our fans. Ie explain why we got 24k etc. explain that we understood our limitations as a club but just wanted our players to represent our colours with enthusiasm and determination and we would be happy. This at a time when we had a very good team with good players.

I know we have been through difficult times but the childish, instant gratification obsessed championship manager wannabes is hard to swallow. Think where we have come from in the last two years. We have never and will never be a big club. Some of the non attendees who post religiously on here need to accept that.

So now we find ourselves in the situation of needing to do what has eluded us twice already this season - winning 3 on the bounce

Could we do it? Nobody else seems to want to claim that 6th spot so why not?

Never looked in too much trouble after the break. Before the subs we looked very dangerous. King runs into blind alleys but he terrifies the opposition. Not overly critical about Bowyer today, we were 4-0 up when he pulled Gestede off which is understandable. My fear is that he'll throw Cairney back onto the wing when he returns.

We won't make the play offs but to be honest that might not be the worst thing. We're not ready for the prem and I'm certainly not ready to put myself through the agony of the play offs.

To rest him? Does it need anymore explanation than that?

Rest !

After less than sixty minutes....rest !

Rest him ........are you for real !

Its not the subbing him, its also about who he subbed him for.

What a berk Bowyer is, even when he's doing well, he manages to almost nawse it up by unnecessary meddling.

Meanwhile, Ipswich looking good for 6th place. That culd've been us if we'd appointed Mick.

So if we'd appointed Mick we'd have been one point and +1 goal difference better off...

Tom doesn't moan in every single post. It's all you bloody do...

Hahaha! Cheers Dad. Anyone would think we haven't underachieved all season and played out for draws against Yeovil.

If you don't like it then you know where the ignore button is... Mate.

A good post, lost on this thread though, I'd put it in the Bowyer thread.

I don't know what you are expecting Bowyer to say about it but resting/protecting him is all you are likely to get, assuming he wasn't injured.

Im not saying it was a good sub but I don't really know what you're expecting him to say about it. Hes not going to say it was wrong as we won.

Really hope Gestede can carry this form on next season. My worry is we might become a little too one dimensional just flinging balls into Rudy from deep, this weekend proved that. Hats off to Rudy, great player for us this season, class signing by Bowyer.

King proved a lot of narrow minded opinions on here wrong today. As I've said countless times, he's unplayable on his day and we look far better on the counter with him in the team. Yes, he's not consistent but if he was he'd still be at United. Has to be picked week in week out for me. Hopefully Bowyer has the spine to say 'NO' to our dynamic duo and stick with him out wide... He's the only genuine pace we've got.

Credit where credit is due a good response from the guys today and not least Bowyer.

Shame about the two goals and 2 point gsp now.

Signs of progress since Bournemouth, except for Yeovil, but consistency is the difference now on from here.

Gestede's form is a reason for cautious optimism next season - ignoring the elephant in the room for a moment. If he and Rhodes can form a decent partnership, who knows.

Despite the frustration, somehow this season isn't over yet. Looks like we might go down to the final game of the season... before the club can announce season ticket prices.
