Neal Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Only just realised that Wigan could end up out of this... Wow.

frosty Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 No chance Wigan will lose at Birmingham, unfortunately, they're desperately poor.
Husky Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 as it stands a 3-0 win for us next week puts us above Wigan If only we'd have beaten Birmingham by six like we should have done. If if if....................
adsfortheblues Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 So, the addition to the permutations is Wigan. Now on +13 gd and play Brum midweek. A loss there has them on at least +12, we'll be on +7 as it stands meaning a 3 goal victory on the last day takes us above them. Which would mean if we hadn't conceded 2 against brum we'd just have needed a 1-0 against Wigan
somersetrover Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 as it stands a 3-0 win for us next week puts us above Wigan Come that game it will be by one or two goals or we won't be able to catch them as Wigan are away to Brum in mid week.

Another goal for us (or Wigan) would mean that should Wigan lose at Brum a 2 goal victory would suffice as we've scored more goals.
lraC Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 4-0 it would have to be would t it? Ignore me No 3 although Wigan have a game in midweek, if they lose that then 2-0 will do.
Backroom Tom Posted April 26, 2014 Backroom Posted April 26, 2014 Come on Rovers (of the Doncaster variety)
Neal Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 King apparently been excellent again today. Must play every week.
Devon Rover Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Feeney on for King! Uh-oh. Substitution time. Here comes the lifeline for Charlton...
JBiz Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Yeah but according to Jbizzle it's the "negative atmosphere". In some part perhaps? Lost 2 games away in 6 months yet never looked to good consistently at home.
superniko Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Which would mean if we hadn't conceded 2 against brum we'd just have needed a 1-0 against Wigan No it wouldn't as every goal we gain in the Wigan game they also lose so it's worth double. Let's stop the ifs and buts. We got a 2 goal win away from home. The kind of thing we struggled with seasons gone by.
otto man Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Reading will win today to spoil it all. Sitting in a darkened room listening to Leonard Cohen?
The Rover of Finland Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Feeney on for King!Wonder if Varney and have Feeney are like Campbell and permanent deals done?
somersetrover Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Wonder if Varney and have Feeney are like Campbell and permanent deals done? I do hope not.
joey_big_nose Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Hard to argue with Bowyer continuing in charge. Great work. Really looking forward to seeing how this side develops. Two quality strikers, three good wingers, a great passer in Cairney. Not totally convinced by Evans, but sounds like he is growing into his role. Keep Keane if we can, bring in some better bench options in cm, cb, fb, cf. Its a good team at this level.
redroses Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Just get me to one minute before kick off next week then I know what I'm dealing with. I can't cope!!!!
USABlue Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Sitting in a darkened room listening to Leonard Cohen? Trying to minimize my disappointment. Who is Leonard Cohen?
Backroom Tom Posted April 26, 2014 Backroom Posted April 26, 2014 Do Brighton only need a point next week to stay above us?
Husky Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Arrrggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Missing so many chances.............. We want four, we want four! Do Brighton only need a point next week to stay above us? Yes. Unless we win by some kind of cricket score ( a bad cricket team mind).
somersetrover Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Do Brighton only need a point next week to stay above us? Yes unless we win by 7.
adsfortheblues Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 No it wouldn't as every goal we gain in the Wigan game they also lose so it's worth double. Let's stop the ifs and buts. We got a 2 goal win away from home. The kind of thing we struggled with seasons gone by. Yes it would, if we are saying we need 3 as it stands (2 if they lost the game in hand, which they have to for this to have a chance), then if we hadn't of conceded them 2, we'd only need a win by 1.
