Exactly as a pointless argument. What I can tell you though is the wage bill is more than 100% the turnover, so if there was suddenly no credit available we would be forced to sell players and face admin and points deductions within weeks.

And you cannot prove the he is wrong!

I'll take Kamy's word for it that the interested parties are still around, Stockholm is not all it's cracked up to be

I'm not disputing there might be people prepared to invest. What I am saying is currently without them we go bust. In terms of who else might get involved, look at some of the owners of clubs recently! We could be in for a shock.

I believe they came in naive, a certain agent pounced on this and milked the golden calf for all it was worth, the quietness of recent months/years and getting rid of Shebby tells me maybe they are learning, would love someone to buy them out and invest trillons but that aint gonna happen, just sick of the constant glass still half empty postings, if they pulled the plug tomorrow we would be knackered1

so you are saying better the devil we know? so then we should just let this club rot for the foreseeable future because no one else would take us on? bull!!

Ya, ill take better the devil you know at the moment, we where rotting, dont think we are know except for the happy to be miserable brigade!

If you accept there are people, then why assume we have to go bust

How much would the 'interested' parties have to pay for this vast money pit?

At a guess the debt is £60-£70m.

The club and staff £35m (that could be miles off).

That's over £100m just too be where we are now!

Who has that money to throw at a club that has so few season ticket holders paying so little?

Only another Jack Walker could or would chuck money at our club.... Imo of course.

The only reason they still own the club is because they refuse point blank to talk to any one who may be interested

Well the debt does not appear to be secured against the club!

And you know this, how? Rumours, whispers, gossip, inside knowledge?

If they pull finance plug and can't find buyer we go bust. Daniel Grabko or another accountant may be able to understand the ins and outs of what Venkys or Venkys uk is liable for, neither me or yourself can fully discuss it with facts.

Simple thing is though, like you, I don't want the Raos to own the club. The problem is unless someone with obscene amounts of money wants us- we will end up in the hands of administrators or fraudulent businessmen seeking ill gotten gains or "folklore"

read the accounts, they are available

Think we are already there

Do the accounts state they refuse point blank to speak with other parties interested in buying the club, which is what you posted

Pedantic

Not pedantic at all, just wanted to know how you know the refuse to speak to other interested parties?

Kamy again.

It must be a distance thing ;)

By reading and talking to people who know this to be the case, you can also find out by reading the other threads on this board

We would make many more millions if we got back to the Prem.

Can Bowyer and his coaching staff deliver that next season? I think it's unlikely

Who could guarantee that then Willie?

We can win the premier league and I won't accept the VENKYSCUM

Why not? I will.

So like i said, rumours, gossip and whispers!

You obviously cannot read

"people who know this to be the case"

.

It's a funny point but the highest paid, most experienced and reputable manager, with the most expensively assembled and paid squad, managed to finish fourth in the champ this season.

I know other things impacted this, but no manager can guarantee anything!

Think we are already there

... Which makes it likely to happen again?

I have no idea if anyone could guarantee it but going off the evidence of Bowyer's reign I don't think he can. He deserved to be given a chance to show what he could achieve this season. He has brought in a lot of players and had seemingly little external interference but doesn't look like he's learning to adapt his approach.

Even on Saturday, we got into a great position by half time. Rosler made a couple of changes and the second half was a different story. Which has happened quite a few times this season. I have no confidence Bowyer can get us promoted so it must be worth at least looking at who might come and then deciding whether to stick or twist.

Lol, touchy, name them!

Do your own research, it's not hard, already named one by the way.

I would only name others if they agreed 1st

I am just hoping Bowyer played a personal blinder in guaranteeing another season in charge by holding out for some draws from a winning positions.

Next season he has to close the games out.

No it isn't, Bowyer has earned at least next season, and we won on saturday!
