I remember in previous summers there being a schedule so here's my attempt at this years dates of importance over the summer. Hopefully this can be pinned to keep people informed.

Saturday 24th May - Champions League Final (Real Madrid vs. Athletico Madrid) and Championship Play-Off Final (Derby County vs. QPR). Losing team stays in Championship for next season.

Sunday 25th May - League One Play-Off Final (Rotherham United vs. Leyton Orient) Winner comes up to the Championship next season

Monday 26th May - League Two Play-Off Final (Fleetwood Town vs. Burton Albion) Josh Morris due to be in action for Fleetwood

Friday 30th May - England vs. Peru at Wembley. World Cup warm up.

Wednesday 4th June - Ecuador vs. England. World Cup warm up in Miami

Saturday 7th June - England vs. Honduras. World Cup warm up in Miami

Saturday 14th June - England vs. Italy. World Cup Group D

Monday 16th June - Capital One Cup First Round Draw

Wednesday 18th June - Football Legaue fixtures for 2014/15 Season released

Thursday 19th June - Uruguay vs. England. World Cup Group D

Tuesday 24th June - England vs. Costa Rica. World Cup Group D

Saturday 28th June - ** If England finish runners up ** Group C Winner vs. Group D Runners up

Sunday 29th June - ** If England win group ** Group D Winner vs. Group C Runners up

Monday 30th June - Pre-season training begins.

Tuesday 1st July - Free agents released. Transfer window Officially open.

Saturday 12th July - AFC Telford United vs. Blackburn Rovers - PRE SEASON FRIENDLY - 3pm kick off. Clitheroe vs. Blackburn Rovers U21s U21s FRIENDLY - 3pm kick off

Sunday 13th July - World Cup Final

Monday 14th - Sunday 20th July - Pre season training camp in Portugal

Saturday 19th July - Knaresborough Town vs Blackburn Rovers U21s - U21s FRIENDLY - 3pm kick off

Tuesday 22nd July - AFC Darwen vs. Blackburn Rovers XI - U21s/RESERVE FRIENDLY - 7.45pm kick off

Wednesday 23rd July - Accrington Stanley vs. Blackburn Rovers - PRE SEASON FRIENDLY - 7.45pm kick off

Saturday 26th July - Bradford City vs. Blackburn Rovers - PRE SEASON FRIENDLY - 3pm kick off

Tuesday 29th July - Annan Athletic vs. Blackburn Rovers U21s - U21s FRIENDLY - 7.30pm kick off

Wednesday 30th July - Bury vs Blackburn Rovers - PRE SEASON FRIENDLY - 7.45pm kick off

Saturday 2nd August - Penrith AFC vs. Blackburn Rovers U21s - U21s FRIENDLY - 2pm kick off

Sunday 3rd August - Blackburn Rovers vs. Stoke City - PRE SEASON FRIENDLY - 3pm kick off

Tuesday 5th August - Workington AFC vs. Blackburn Rovers U21s - U21s FRIENDLY - 7pm kick off

Saturday 9th August - 2014/15 Championship season begins
