[Archived] Lets to the chase, the problem at the Rovers is middle management. Shaw and Myers out

Recommended Posts

It is obvious that our 2 Scouse and Nobber interlopers are more interested in their own pockets than reporting the truth back to Pune.

The result is stagnation, time for Pune to wake up and get them out and put a new executive team in place that have the Rovers well being at heart.

There are plenty of candidates out there that meet the bill.

Come on Pune, you will save a fortune by doing it.

Does mrs shaw or mrs Myers if they exist, like shopping? If so, no chance of getting rid of them

I think it's fair to say their handbag and shoe collections will be doing ok. Maybe even the odd bit of Indian gold jewellery as well :)

So putting women at the head of business is not a good thing then !

Can't believe that, it just needs the info to be presented correctly, even powerful women know when something is not right.

Put me in charge and I'd sort quite a bit and I know nowt about business or football clubs. I am pretty good though at spotting when I'm being lied to or when someone's trying to get away with something

Go for it gumboots, with the two incumbents we have now you would stand out like a beacon

Sounds like you'd be chased out sharpish, gumboots. Truth and honesty are seemingly not something valued in Pune, as Paul Hunt found out.

Odd but I can't find any reference on google to Steve Kean attempting to smuggle Indian gold into the country. How can that be?

CELEBS FINED BY AIU

June 2011:

Steve Kean, manager of British football club Blackburn Rovers, was intercepted with gold jewellery worth Rs 3-4 lakh.

But that was pretty hard to find, I suspect (but certainly can't prove) some online reputation management has gone on here

How much is Rs 3-4 lakh. Never could work out Indian money! I'm a strictly Anglo/American accountant.

I hope the confiscated the gold and fined the scum.

Think we might be seeing both of them pop out from under their rocks soon, after the Mrs D love in from GB today, won't want to be left behind in the praising madam stakes which seems to be the main criteria for keeping on the gravy train

The problem at Rovers is the owners. Nothing will change for the better whilst they are " In charge ".

This is obviously the case. Those wishing we had another John Williams or Tom Finn on the board seem to forget what happened when they challenged Venky's on how the club was being run.

Now, back to that self-imposed exile.

I rather thought yesterday's superb performance at Anfield laid complete waste to that argument.

Performances on the pitch are generally entirely down to the players and manager and his coaching staff.

Yesterday we were superb and maybe with a bit more going forward could have won it.. The whole day was fantastic, the players and fans alike were magnificent but until these lunes from Pune rocked up the sad thing is Liverpool away was just another away game slightly more emotional as that's where we won the league
