Watched him in the 2nd half .. Stood there hands in pockets apart from a calm down gesture when it needed a real rant . We had a corner around 60 mins .. He walked to the dugout looking at the floor and scraping his foot like he couldn't be arsed or wanting to be elsewhere . . That's not having a go it's what I saw.

Cos he hasn't got a clue.. Just got in after a few lagers to numb the pain of the rubbish I'd just witnessed... Everyone at half time said he has to go..forget the fans cup.. He has to go simple as

More 'quality not that bad football', eh?

Brown utterly useless and why did he not give at least one of the youngsters some game time? (Because he's a coward).

Insult to injury to hear him talking about players being watched by other people and their aspirations to play at a higher level.

Tantamount to admitting we have zero ambition.

Yes, technically. He is on a 12 month rolling contract. Chances of Venky's getting rid though seem to be slim to non existent.

Post match interview on Radio Lancs '' we haven't given up , there is only 12 points in it and a lot can happen in the remaining games ''. In the name of God !!!

Must have been a simultaneous broadcast with Radio Pune. As has been stated on here already , if there wasn't the Liverpool game in front of us this season would fall off a cliff with next to no fans turning out.

This could be the worst Summer in living memory at this Club.ST sales will plummet unless massive and sweeping changes are made throughout the Club .It's dying on its arse as things stand without any way back under the current regime.

Even if we were to beat Liverpool by some miracle, ticket sales for Wembley could be embarrassing such is the level of apathy created amongst the fanbase by these nobs.

We could go back to the shocking display v Blackpool for that. He couldn't come up with a game plan or motivation to go for 3 points against the worst team in the league. Preferring instead to try and stop their thrown together shambles of a team because they'd drawn at home the game before. The mans limitations are endless !

At least it looked like we gave it a bit of a go at the end, in that game. I agree about your overall point though about him not having a clue. I think what makes it worse is that everyone in the ground can see it, apart from him/ the backroom staff.

Another few poor results and we could finish around 14th or lower, which wouldn't flatter us right now. If Gary's told them he expected the play-offs before the season, I think they'll move him on.

Seems Bowyer still trying to pull the wool over the Pune eyes or he really has lost the plot and is totally deluded.

@drawsies @RVM_2000 Manager still talking about top six.

He'll talk about it until the bitter end, I'm sure. If only there was a local reporter willing to ask some cutting questions about today's abysmal performance and the real reasons behind our league position.

I think Kamy said the other week that Mrs D will stick by Bowyer as manager for next season from what he has heard from Pune.

also Derek Shaw comment on Bowyer and his future during the last Fans forum

"TS stated that, despite the result at Liverpool the previous day, that there was some significant concern from many fans about the performance of Gary Bowyer, given the recent decline in league form. DS responded that the club was aware of supporter concern, but the management both in Blackburn and India remained fully supportive of Gary. He had performed well in what had been and continued to be a difficult situation for a manager. The owners commitment can clearly be seen both in their support of Gary and their refusal to accept offers from other clubs for senior players."

Bowyer is going to have to replace Gestede, King who I expect to leave and maybe Rhodes this summer plus add pace on the wings. hope that Bowyer and his scouts are looking at strikers to replace these players. I would be looking at Chris Wood, Lewis Grabban, Tom Bradshaw(Walsall), and maybe David McGoldrick who I believe is out of contract this summer.

Is that quote a wind up? IMO you're a bad fan. I reckon you'll be happy just to turn up for your "Match day experience" with your hero Bowyer in charge, regardless of what it means for the club!

the quote is from the Rovers fan forum that took place on the 9th March.

regardless of what it means for the club?

the club I've supported for over 25 years and the club I have been a season ticket holder for the past 17 years. I attend every home league game.

have a moan or dig at me but DON'T EVER QUESTION FOR LOYALTY AND PASSION FOR THIS CLUB. I will always support my team through the good and bad times and I won't give up on my CLUB!!!

An amusing reply considering the person giving it.

Besides of which, if the owners weren't clueless and our boardroom wasn't a joke we wouldn't be in a difficult situation - and Bowyer likely wouldn't have the manager's job at all. He'd still be running the reserves.

The quote date isn't relevant, the manner in which you post it is IMO. Bit snidey really I think. I've had my season ticket since 1988 Chaddy but if GB's here next season I won't be going. I'm prepared(like others) to take a stand against the mediocrity that surrounds our club. But I think you'll be there with your foam finger and blue n white wig happy clapping along to a draw against Charlton.

Was anyone chanting " sack the board today " if not, why not ?

It must be time for Shaw and his cronies to feel some pressure, who knows it may have some effect on Bowyer's position, we may end up with

a proper manager, or even a proper Director or two.

They don't feel pressure, too busy trousering the money!

That's right just a bunch of "self-servers", looking for a nice, healthy early retirement fund.

Pressure needs to be applied imo, I'm pretty sure that the Rao's will have someone attending games and reporting back.

You're probably right, but why should they get off Scot free, give em some stick, worth a try at least.

The way I see it if we got rid of Bowyer at the end of the season. Who are we going to attract? The pluses are we are a club with premier league facilities and in terms of the premier league years we have a history that means we are a club that should be in the top flight, and we have a squad I feel that is good enough to be in the top 6. However we have no money to spend and are losing huge amounts of money every month, we are currently under a transfer embargo and the fact we have the venkys for owners is a reason alone why a lot of managers won't want too touch us with a barge pole. I personally think he'll definitely be here this year, I like GB as a person and I appreciate the work he has done in terms of reducing the clubs wage bill and he has brought some good players to the team for minimal amounts in most cases but with the lack of progression this season he is clearly not the man too take us to the next level. Would I get rid at the end of the season? Yes. Do I think we could bring someone better in? I'm not sure. Saturday night waffle over!
