Yeah Chaddy, stick with your opinions. Cos you don't change them every week do you?

Give Bowyer cash????? Has he shown any proof of spending it on anything more than bang average league 1 player??

Gestede? Conway? Cairney? Evans? Marshall?

Gestede cost less 500k and now value around 5/6 million pounds

I'm not sure Bowyer or any manager would get that kind of money to spend due to the restrictions of the embargo. One would think the money would go to getting the running costs down so the embargo could be lifted at some point during next season.

I would hope that Manager gets some money. I hope that bring around 16 million pounds would lift the embargo and allow the manager to some of the money.

There will be no money to spend this summer, that will be the only way that we can get the FFP sanctions lifted. The best that we can hope for is for some freebies and some inventive loan signings.

Gestede, I will give you but the other 4 I doubt the club would get their initial outlay back ....

Sorry am I not allowed to change my mind.

I have change my view.

But this summer the squad is going have to reshape with a few 1st team players out of contract who are likely to leave(I would only re-sign Kilgallon) and Gestede and maybe Rhodes leaving. I hope Bowyer will be given some cash from sales but mainly is going to reshape the squad with Loans and Free transfers. if we sold sold Gestede for 6 mil and Rhodes for 8 to 10 mil then hopefully given Bowyer some of that cash like 5 million pounds

You can change your mind every five minutes for all I care but don't moan when posters let you know.

Always from day 1 said he does not have what it takes to be a manager. Best 2 strikers we have had for 5 years and we are absolutely no threat to anyone but the dregs of this league.

When the strikers go and he remains we are down next season. Actual manager would be a novel idea next time we are hiring.

Thanks Kamy.

I just that if we bring in 16 million(if Rhodes and Gestede leave) that we wont be able to spend some of it. seems very unfair rules to me

Kamy, do you know if Bowyer has started looking to at players who he wants during the summer? surely Rovers scouts have been scouting players who are out of contract this summer.

and yet again we find Chaddy having to defend himself against idiots because he supports the club, and is passionate about it.

Have a word with yourselves, hes not the enemy FFS.

Completely agree with this; I often fail to see the factual evidence for why people react to Chaddy the way they do, comments like 'he's winding is up on purpose' and 'he constantly changing his mind' remind me of a school boy bullying approach.

People need to either grow up or stop being so bloody paranoid!

Thing is and I can't believe he always does it is that no matter which striker scores then there is an above average percentage they get dropped next game . Dark forces or just lune a see ?

I honestly believe that he is all about keeping players happy by giving them some game time, often to the detriment of the team. It is the most stupid rotation policy I have ever come across.

I am starting to think the problem is the fans and not GB. Look at recent performances away from home; the fans have got behind GB and the boys and we have performed well.

The negativity from the stands at home is rubbing off on the players.

Start clapping them not booing them. Be happy not moaning.

Preston have done well with that approach.

When the team set out and begin every home game like it's a training session and generally move about at walking speed it's rather hard to get into from the stands. We all need a summer course in how to cheer a sideways pass or roar the ball itself whilst it goes forward through the air in preparation for next season. Blue & white ball maybe then we can cheer it's every move (sideways)

Crap crap tactics and style of play and something that has been consistent with Bowyer since the very start of last season.

Not sure if this is sarcasm or not.

The crowd got behind the team yesterday in spades despite having nothing to cheer about.

You might want to compare apples with apples and include the prices paid for the squad Souness inherited, such as 8 million for Jansen and Ward to name but two, plus add on 15 years transfer fee inflation. Souness did a great job but he certainly wasn't operating on a shoestring.

Very good point.

I wonder if the Lunes genuinly believe we are promotion candidates?

Do they even know we can get promoted, hell they did not know about relegation.

So Rovers havent spent more to try to get promotion this time than they did the last time DESPITE THE CLEAR FACT THEY HAVE. Bunkem is the word and you post it every time.

Enjoy and remember to watch this time as you seem to have a cataract for facts and figures

You compared apples to oranges. To build your.case.you.take all our spending this time but only.Souness'. To make your point you need to do Souness' vs Bowyers but that would not support your cause.would it.

I am not too surprised that Kamy mentioned that there would be no money in the summer. However I don't see this as detrimental for our following season. I do still believe in this squad one of the main issues is that the starting 11 has very rarely peaked together at a certain time. I mean Cairney is definitely not as good as last year, and Hanley has gone wayward.

We need to use the loan market and freebies well. First priority in my eyes would be to get Spearing, and Henry back into the squad, with Baptiste. Sell Hanley. I don't necessarily believe you need to spend to achieve success, John O Sullivan has been getting good reviews at Barnsley so should be given the chance to step, as well as other young players in the squad. Keeping a hold of our key players is essential but easily doable. One thing I think is an issue in the team is the formation. I don't think we necessarily need to play with two at the top. I wouldn't mind us doing a 4 3 3 or a 4 5 1 formation. Use Gestede and Rhodes against the right opposition, they both enjoy being the focal point of the attack.

So why not set Gestede up in a 4 3 3

with

Cairney Evans Spearing

Marshall Gestede Conway

Boring Bowyer Out.

Deadly Shelfy Shaw Out.

Every single director and exec that has sat in the background and said nothing Out.

And the most perverse bit about it all... If the Chicken Family leave we are totally @#/?.

Ideally I think we need to play a combination of wide play, getting the ball into the box for Rhodes or Gestede to get on the end of, and direct football with the man in the hole (Gestede, Brown, or whoever we have next season) flicking on for the striker up top and an attacking midfielder to pounce on. I think we're too weak in the middle to rely on playing it through there. We have players like Olsson, Marshall, Taylor and Conway who can get down the flanks and put in a cross.
