I asked a Palace fan on twitter who reckon Gayle is on around 16 to 18k a week.

Kamy suggestion last week how we could do the Gayle wage

how likely is Remy likely to leave Chelsea when he is playing some games and winning trophies there

who knows Abbey? but it was just a suggestion that we could do. striker with pace and does score goals

that's the way our club has to work now.

It's down to Bowyer and his scouts have to find the right players and bring them into the club

isn't our Embargo set to be review at the start of the July(roughly)?

Glen, it was a suggestion. that's was all. but we do need a pacey striker in this summer IMO

Chaddy mate I'm not being funny, but you treat Kammy like he is head of sky sports news or something, his knowledge isn't much better than most on here mate (no offence to him intended). Just because Kammy has come up with some suggestion doesn't mean we can do it.

Might just be idle speculation but worrying if true, a much better fit for Rhodes than any of the other Clubs he has been previously linked with.

Hasn't anyone told them he's no better than Gordon outside the area?

Blackburn have a chance of making the playoffs next season. for me, its all down to us putting together a good unbeaten run and being consistency, and the quality of the Rhodes and Gestede replacements.

I like the way you dismiss everyone else's chances and highlight their potential weaknesses then predict we'll do better than last season if we lose our only two players worth their salt!! Blue and white tinted glasses optimism at it's extreme.

BTW you seem determined that Rhodes and Gestede should leave. Ideally we need to keep both and definitely need to keep one if the other goes imo.

Adsfortheblues, I'm not being funny but I rated Gayle very highly and have done since he scored a hat-trick against us for Peterborough United. That's why I agree with Kamy's suggestion on here.

Plus I have come up with a few names today and in the past also.

No chance of us getting the play offs under GB we couldn't with two top goalscorers we aren't without are we.. Our best plan is to twist on the manager

Spot on. Even if Rhodes and Gestede were to stay we would need another manager to transform the likes of Cairney, Conway, Marshall and Hanley into 36 - 40 game a season performers instead of six to improve imo.

Yes but I'm talking about you mentioning that Kammy has come up with a statergy for us to sign him, anybody could do that, doesn't mean we will be anywhere near his signature.

Be realistic, we can't and will not be making any signing of that ilk. We will be looking at more chris browns and jay spearings.

Out of interest is Kammy a reporter or something?

Firstly, Kamy came up with an idea. that's was all.

secondly, Signing Chris Wood on loan would be good option. I have also suggestion some strikers who are available on a free transfer like Erwin Hoffer or David McGoldrick.

Burnley will need 3 or 4 players at least summer. Ings has gone. Barnes out long term injured. so need 2 strikers/

Hull, need to rebuild their squad and revamp their striker force.

Qpr, looking like they are going to totally rebuild their squad and have a younger squad.

Blackburn have a chance of making the playoffs next season. for me, its all down to us putting together a good unbeaten run and being consistency, and the quality of the Rhodes and Gestede replacements.

here are the odds for the championship including Promotion, winning the league, getting relegation, top 6 finish, etc

https://www.skybet.com/football/sky-bet-championship

Burnley as you state will need a couple of strikers,

However it's also looking like rovers will too, difference is Burnley will have money to buy 2 , we will be looking around in the bargain bin .

Hull have a lot of talented players and enough for two squads . Again they have money to spend , plus a proven manager

QPR- seems everyone writing them off , why I do not know . They are coming down from the prem in a better state than they did last time they were relegated . They have money , are under no embargo and like the other two relegated teams are in better shape than our team , which has proven 2 seasons running under Bowyer , that we are not top 6 material .

How can we suddenly be pushing for the play offs ?? If we can't hit the top 6 with a 40 goal plus strike force , what chance have we , with no money to spend .

Let's be realistic , if rovers can stay out s relegation fight next season , then we would of had a good season

I think QPR could have a similar season to Norwich this year. Ramsey will probably be potted mid season and they'll bring someone else in to push them up into contention.

It'll be interesting to see how Brentford perform next season with Warburton gone.

There's probably not much in it Rev, but Gordon is slowing down A bit now, he must be in his late sixties.

I'm not meaning to get at you, but it's getting on my nerves as it is in a great many of your otherwise very good, informative posts. For the love of God, it is 'would have', 'could have', and 'should have'. Not 'of'. The contraction is 've, which means 'have'. If it was 'of', the contraction would be 'f or something.

I think Hull need to re-shape their squad for me, they need at least 2 or 3 good strikers in.

QPR will need at least 2 strikers if not 3. Austin will go leave and go to Newcastle.

if Gestede was sold 7 million pounds and Rhodes for 10/12 million pounds would the embargo been lift? would we have any money to spend?

How old are you abbey? Around 60-70? And you act like a 7 year old having a tantrum half the time, stick a dummy in and shut up lad

Tell you what when you eventually find Ewood look me up .

Careful, you'll have all his cronies on to you. Or he'll mention something about you having a 'stiffy'. Or call you 'Degsy'. He mentions those two things a lot. Makes you wonder. Maybe a fully-engorged Degsy is his ultimate fantasy.

You're right though, it's like having an annoying child bleating away in the corner while the grown-ups try to talk. I think it's an attention thing. Hopefully he'll get tired soon and go for a nap.

You really are an arrogant cock

I'm normally against people getting all pedantic about spelling and grammar mistakes, as long as you can still get the jist of the post, but that little Elli-Rant did make me chuckle.

;)

If it was a mistake I'd ignore it, but his posts are littered with it. It annoys me when people don't care enough to use their own language correctly.

Have you learnt nothing ? This league is a lottery

Bournemouth won it ..... Jesus .... And Brentford nearly got away with murder

We are as likely to win it as we are to get relegated

We will probably just mince around in 9th again

Will you be the one holding a zimmer frame?

Careful old man don't get to stressed you might clock out

Judging by your posts and the way you react after rovers lose a game, if you do ever attend Ewood I'd imagine you'd be the one in the nappy
