The majority will probably be hanging on to see if it is indeed Brownie who is to be our main man up top before committing. Mouthwatering.

That is correct ..People are waiting to see what kind of squad we'll have and it could be a long painful season with GB at the helm

I think that's what we'll be doing FFP or no FFP.

Our Club would be distraught if FFP were scrapped. They were using it as an excuse even before it came in!

Plenty urged them to spend then and get promotion but to no avail. Billionaires my arse, no use to us.

Now FFP explains why anything and everything goes wrong. Its their new child.

What their game is no-one knows but it isn't football.

I'm not sure that will be the case. I think a large majority will already know what they're going to do.

A lot wait till the last minute but end up getting one as what else is their to do on a Saturday ? Don't say golf ha ha

But for some its come to enough is enough

Well it is on Google alert transfer news that rovers have set a target fee and Crystal Palace are lining up a 15m bid for Jordan with Newcastle, Hull Middlesbrough, west ham, Everton all in the mix, but hey he's crap isn't he, some of our fans who think we can do better will never see the like again.

A Blackpool supporting friend has told me that they have sold around 100 season tickets.

To be honest I hope the fans stick to their guns, I'm not anti Oyston, as I know where they came from to where they are now, but you've got to stick together.

If only our fans would do the same the idiots in Pune would soon get the message, but its to much trouble, not worth the effort because we can't change things blah blah blah

It's a difficult one Stuart. Imo the right thing to do is very much to carry on attending and protest from within (like Abbey for example) rather than boycott as a form of protest.

Fat lot of good that did Simon.

Whoah... Since when could Palace afford 15m? Wow. The new TV deal (if it is true) has really put the afterburners on.

For that money Rhodes is gone. We should try and get Gayle and another proven striker.

Though I doubt the story is accurate.

Hypothetically if we got 15m and 7m for Rhodes and Gestede - so 22m total - how much of that cash could we spend?

Why sell? when you already have two proven goalscovers.

The talk should be about adding a third striker to compliment these two and binning Brown.

Breathtaking in naivety JAL.

We should have 2 players for every position if we really wanted to be top dog, plus we conceded a lot last season - I'd say he should be considering changes.

I can't see how this article is another black and white "he's either stupid or complicit to the dodgy dealing".

Can't afford that luxury unless it's poor players that you are thinking of. Allardyce's idea for club's of limited means was for key players down the middle of the park with the rest of a smaller squad comprised of utility type players who could play in 2 or 3 positions. Best way forward until our income and expenditure are more in line.

The Daily Snail is a pathetic paper sport wise.

Where do Boro get £12m from in one shot? Answer is they don't and we wont sell unless they pay the going fee.

I don't see Palace taking Rhodes over a player of the ilk of Remy, there just isn't a comparison between him and JR. Ones proven the other isn't.

Gestede is the player who is MORE likely to go and ONLY when the fee required is met. We know its around £7m that the club value him at so that has to be the ballpark figure for any deal to go ahead.

The papers are full of speculation, there isn't much else to talk about and they fill the pages with rubbish.

There's entire forests been cut down in Scandanavia cos of Sepp Blatter's corrupt shennanigins

Yeah this is the confusing bit. Theoretically we would get 15m quid in and get 35k a week off the wage bill. Surely that would have some impact in allowing us to spend a bit more per week on Gayle?

I think all this talk about certain player's is just daft. No self respecting agent would allow one of his better players to sign for debt burdened BRFC.

What did your one man turning your back do tho ?

It really is what everyone should have done if they'd had any gumption abbey. So I'd have to say that it gave me lots of self respect and an unshakeable belief that I am always right. As subsequent events have proven. :tu:
