In the BBC gossip colum this morning saying now we want 7 million for Rudy after his performances this season...

When they were discussing Wannabe Big Club Newcastle on MOTD they were saying they get £119 Million for finishing 14th. We'll have to sell an awful lot of players for a mighty big profit to even get anywhere close to the money that being a lower mid-table/relegation threatened Prem league club would have brought.

Very scary looking line-up. The obvious choice for RB is Henley but GB doesn't seem to fancy him for some reason. I reckon we'll muster under 20 goals with that side unless another Rudy is somehow signed.

I also can't see there being any buyers for Hanley, Marshall and Cairney. Marshall may have pricked a bit of interest if the scout caught him on a good day, but if they'd watched a number of our games this season then they'd know he's got the determination of a man on death row.

If they can get a look in their strong first XI, why can't we try some of our team in the first team squad who have been dire for most games this season?

You don't need to listen to gossip merc, one look at the debt should be enough to tell everyone that we're in the mire.

I try not to think about it, simply because I can do absolutely nothing about it.

It's going to be a long summer. Not in a good way.

Rhodes and Gestede are likely to be off, i'd say Gestede is certain to leave but Venkys might just push their luck too much with the Rhodes price.

Replacing those 2 would be difficult with alot of cash and seeing as we have none/unable to spend it is an impossibility. We might get lucky and land a freebie who hits a decent amount of goals but it's no likely.

With 2 meaningless games to go Bowyer should be trying a couple of the young players out. O'Sullivan and Lenihan seem to be the closest to a first team breakthrough, so get them both starting in their favoured positions.

Obviously it's completely up to you what you discuss- it's just I've heard this morning from BBC and another few places that we are intent on asking for 12m+ for JR and now 7m+ for RG due to both having long contracts.

Simple answer - we have very little to be positive about.

If you think selling two of the best strikers in the Championship (almost 40 league goals this season), who under a half decent manager would have fired us to the PL, is 'positive' then I give up.
