I think Allardyce would rather carve his own eyes out with rusty spatulas than work for Venkys. And who would blame him?

Also if he wants a job plenty in the prem will have him. No need to drop to championship.

Kean's position was untenable from mid-2011, IMV. The Bolton game in particular was an incredible outpouring of hatred towards him which couldn't have been interpreted as anything other than universal disdain across the fanbase for the manager and all associated with him.

Ultimately, I think Venky's would have stuck with Kean no matter what until a decision was made for them. Let's remember they never sacked Steve Kean, he resigned. If he hadn't, who's to say he wouldn't still be here now?

I'm sure if we'd have double dropped under that @#/? they'd have sat back and still done sod all whilst we played in front of 4 thousand who still turned up and booed coco. That's why i'll never fully buy into this lot.

Nicko is a very good source of info IMO. has good record and his transfer updates during his time on here was good and added to the site.

You don't agree I guess which is fine and that's what messageboards are about.

He'd have to buck his ideas up substantially to fit in with the work ethic there. Performing half a dozen times a season and spending half the time in the treatment room wouldn't cut it.

Mind you I heard they were also linked with Berbatov the other week so perhaps silly season has already started with the transfer rumours.
