J*B Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 We could probably have sold another 4k for that if they'd gone on general sale so surely we can shift at least 10 thou for this I wouldn't be so sure, theres a massive amount of supporters that don't come to home games anymore, preferring to simply go away. Lots of people at Liverpool where Rovers fans that only watch Rovers away, using someone elses ST.

tomphil Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Which would explain the consistent decent away support on Saturday games then I suppose.
pk1875 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I know quite a few who are now die hard away fans and just don't bother with home games.
Dortmund Rover 32 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 To be fair away games are always more enjoyable. Still expect to see a decent crowd the xliser the game gets people will change they're mind and go. Probably be a fair few bin dippers in home areas as well
tomphil Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Yep local plastic bin dippers, loads of em who don't mind stumping up seeing as they haven't seen Liverpool since last time they were at Ewood.... chunts !
RevidgeBlue Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 What anyone does with their own time and money is their entirely own prerogative and no business of anyone else's. However I wouldn't describe those people who live locally as "die hard away fans" more people who put money into the coffers of other Clubs. Thankfully there is still a dwindling but still loyal band of real supporters who watch the team at Ewood Park irrespective of their views on their owners.
1864roverite Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Its been a busy telephone line got our 7 this morning
Baz Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Its been a busy telephone line got our 7 this morning As if you know 6 people willing to sit near you Wazza!
1864roverite Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 That's harsh Abbey, never had a lumpy arse in my life !
Paul Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Managed to get 4 extra so that's six of us going. As usual unable to book online as website refused to allow me to enter address details!!!! However website showed only 971 available in BBE Lower.
only2garners Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 At the moment though all the season ticket seats will be blocked out as ST holders have until the weekend to claim their seats.
Mike Graham Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 On-line booking does not work for me and the phone lines are constantly engaged. I can't go to Ewood as stuck in London. Boo hiss. I blame GB.
Backroom Tom Posted March 18, 2015 Backroom Posted March 18, 2015 I'll probably get one next month, no spare fundage this month. I reckon around 22k or so
gumboots Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Interestingly enough a Newcastle fan told me the price for their league game is/was £52. Sunderland only paid £40 ish
AJW Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Managed to get 4 extra so that's six of us going. As usual unable to book online as website refused to allow me to enter address details!!!! However website showed only 971 available in BBE Lower. that happened to me , was trying to buy just 3 for friends and family and wouldn't let me enter address details but once i added my 2 season ticket seats making it 5 i could enter details no problem
rog of the rovers Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I got mine, hopefully we can get around 15k Rovers fans on (plus the 7k from Liverpool)
windymiller7 Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Managed to get 4 extra so that's six of us going. As usual unable to book online as website refused to allow me to enter address details!!!! However website showed only 971 available in BBE Lower. I hope they remember to order a few more pies then! Knowing them, they'll probably still shut the Kiosk at the Riverside end of the concourse as they have for previous rounds!
SamTheShrew Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 The option to buy for me disappears when I log in. Strange, I am definitely in the database, although haven't actually been to Ewood this season, only away games.
Ben-2000 Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 A lot seem to be experiencing that problem Sam, but it tends to get resolved with a call to the ticket office. BBE and JW Lower have very few tickets left. Selling well in other area's too - chance of a sell out albeit a slim one.
Andyblue2 Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I think there is a bit of an appetite for this. 25k is my guess.
Rover_Shaun Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 However website showed only 971 available in BBE Lower.Because of.. At the moment though all the season ticket seats will be blocked out as ST holders have until the weekend to claim their seats.
AllRoverAsia Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Nothing to do with tickets but I'm glad the replay was delayed by a few weeks. At least and following Saturdays league failure there is still an event worth waiting for and whilst hope kills its still better than being dead already.
