Amo Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Why do we have Todd from Breaking Bad in midfield? Quote

LDRover Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Shades of the first team there when we sat back after the sending off. That was the time to push on. Quote
cesus Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 It's literally men against boys to be fair. Agree, a bloody good effort too against them also! The pure size difference between both teams when competing for the ball massively shows. Quote
West Yorks Rover Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 GB looks like he's nodding off Isn't he giving them a pep talk ? Quote
Backroom Tom Posted April 20, 2015 Backroom Posted April 20, 2015 GB looks like he's nodding off Watching game of thrones on his iPad What is this ref seeing from corners? Signalled the last one went out of play Quote
Swanson Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 The young lad Lewis Hardcastle might be a real prospect. Only 16? 1 Quote

perthblue02 Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) Unlucky, best team won and Rovers didn't let themselves down Edited April 20, 2015 by perthblue02 Quote
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Good effort lads - they had to play against a large home crowd - while those watching on tv had to suffer a home commentary Quote

hollowsr Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Don't think anyone would have been surprised if that had been 4 0 beforehand. Great effort from the lads, performance they can be proud of and small signs of hope for future Quote
AdamRochina Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Not fifa mate, seriously most of them crosses were criminal , I don't care about age or how good someone's youth is, the fact some of ours couldn't do basic things was shocking , Quote
adsfortheblues Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Wasn't that Mahoneys dad on here a few month back calling the academy saying they played sides that where far superior an they just weren't competitive and they don't get chances in first team etc? Would be interesting if anyone can recall that? Anyone remember? Just wondering, cause he seems right to me. We look like a schoolboy side whilst other under 21s look like men's teams. Quote
Stuart Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Scabby. Southampton really shouldn't be proud of that. In contrast I'm really proud of our young lads this evening. Pushing a very good side laden with PL debutants very close to the wire. Let's hope that some of these lads can push on, and some of them even be given opportunities around the first team. I wonder how we'd have done with O'Sullivan and Lenihan in the side. It'll be a travesty to them, and an insult to the U21s, if we don't see both play some part tomorrow evening. 2 Quote
