Popular Post arbitro
Another good watch at Leyland last night as the under 21's best Norwich 2-0 in the penultimate home match of the season. It was probably just about what we deserved although Norwich had their moments too. I thought Isaac Dunn was outstanding in midfield for us and it was the best performance I have seen from him. His all round game is really coming on and he actually reminded me so much of Tronstad last night. Michalski again caught the eye with some good saves. Once again we scored two well worked goals arising from some crisp passing and good movement in the penalty area. It was a competitive game but the 9 yellow cards and 30 free kicks were wholly disproportionate to what I witnessed. Four Rovers players were cautioned for delaying the restart when, in my view the situations were all manageable.

Is he one we can expect to see in the first team?

At the rate he is progressing I would say yes but that depends on how Ismael views blooding youngsters. That process all but stopped under Eustace after Tomasson gave a host of youngsters an opportunity.I With a couple of exceptions loaning players out hasn't been too beneficial for us so I would like to see Dunn stay and progress working with the first team squad and coaches. I watch a lot of non league football and I really believe that sending kids on loan to the likes of AFC Liverpool doesn't do much for their development. The Premier League 2 is a really competitive league and much better for development in my opinion.

Fixtures will be determined by a draw made according to clubs’ positions in the five seeded pots. There will be 20 Matchweeks, with each team playing 20 regular-season matches throughout the season. Teams will play each club in their own seeding pot once, as well as three to five teams in all other pots either home or away. Results (three points for a win and one point for a draw) will generate a table ranking the 26 teams. After the regular season of 20 Matchweeks has completed, the top 16 teams will qualify for a single elimination playoff. Teams will be drawn against each other based on their league positions, for example the team finishing first facing the team that finished 16th. These will be one-off elimination matches with the higher-seeded team at home. In addition, the teams finishing the regular season in the top 12 will be invited to take part in the next season’s Premier League International Cup competition. What a shit, pointlessly convoluted system.

KentExile Posted Sunday at 07:19 Share Posted Sunday at 07:19 U18s could only draw 1-1 with 10 man, bottom of the table Leeds
KentExile
Pretty youthful U21s team for PL cup game vs Charlton. 4 players start who still qualify for U18s, and another 3 on the bench. Given that they lost 7-0, this was probably not the most sensible choice https://x.com/academy_brfc/status/1899522366977307010 Edited 21 hours ago by KentExile

bluebruce
No matter how youthful the lineup (and I count I think 3 or 4 players who have sat the first team bench), losing 7-0 to fucking Charlton is a very poor result. They're literally not even in the same league. Even our u18s shouldn't be losing to them by that much.

The majority of my previous post was posted before the game, I added the single line about the result after the game
LeftWinger
Has anyone seen Khan play? He looks a bit small to be a keeper to me - but I wasn't stood that close to him when I saw him.

Doesn't particularly look like he fills the goal, and seems to be the weaker of the 3 who are in & around his age group (Michalski & Sol Honor being the other two) Kahn's contract does expire in the summer (although Rovers hold a year option). Honor's expires in 2026 (again with a years option), and Michalski 2027, which presumably shows how the club rate each of those 3 in comparison to each other Edited 8 hours ago by KentExile
