JDT doesn't seem to rate him, and our discussion won't change the outcome. But it's not a pointless discussion any more than every single discussion on this forum is because, with very few exceptions, we can't impact any of them. But if we didn't have discussions just because they won't change club or managerial policy, the board would have died a very long time ago. The point of forum discussions isn't to change outcomes.

Yeh I expect they would prefer to go down south given their origins, but Manchester is a fairly thriving upcoming city, there are a lot of beautiful sights in the NW, lots of very successful, rich footballers seem to enjoy living up here in Cheshire etc. If their lives have been deemed interesting enough for their own show (I wouldn't know, not touching it with a bargepole) I assume they've got enough going on here to feel settled. But at the same time I won't be surprised if she is trying to force the club's hand to sell him. The more unsettled he is, especially publicly, the price will probably go down.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that most of us believe he should have had more chances and think he still has something to offer. But the boss doesn't and there's nothing we can do about it.

And as well as we have done in general, we have lost all 8 games that we have conceded the first goal in, hence why there is a very valid suggestion that on those occasions, that Tomasson isn't doing the right things.

I think you are just being obtuse. Has anyone said that Tomasson is not doing a good job in general? People are specifically mentioning how he has been used (ie barely) when we have conceded and always lost, a very specific weakness in our first 20 games.

I never said that you or anyone has said Jon Dahl Tomasson isn't doing a good job in general have I? No, so please stop with this utter nonsense. We have 2 very different opinions on Dack and I would rather on the players that have done so well for us to get us to second place in the championship, best home league record and 5 wins out of 6 last league games. We can debate and discusses whether Dack featuring more in the games we lost, maybe him he played more in those we would have still lost them or not, But we will do know for fact that this team can played well and win games which including getting to second place without any major impact from Dack
