AllRoverAsia Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Losing 2-0 at HT. All MU, we have barely got forward at all. Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 That's unwatchable with that commentary. Quote
Snarley02 Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Scoreline a bit flattering to Rovers. Lacked a bit of quality all over the pitch. Eastman played well. Quote
bluebruce Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Scoreline was 2-1 to Manure if anyone is wondering. Ben Fyles with our goal. 2 Quote
arbitro Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 We were hugely flattered by the scoreline tonight as United outplayed us, missed a host of chances and found Eastham in top form. I thought we looked a bit weary particularly in the first half when United dominated. We were much better in the second half and competed much better. Interestingly for all their dominance United got four players booked to our one. 1 Quote
bazza Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Is Eastham as good as Pears who was MOM last time out for the first team? Quote

He dropped a real bollock for United's first goal last night but then made some terrific saves. His kicking is better than both Kaminski or Pears. He does lack a bit of stature but if they wanted to send Pears out I would say Eastham is more than capable of being a second keeper. 1 Quote

He's is quite similar to David Raya as keeper. Smaller stature, but agile and very good with his feet. The question marks would be the same as a young version of Raya. How commanding in the box will he be? Will he fluff the crosses/corners against big senior pros? A loan might be the best option similar to what Raya did. 1 Quote

If he is going out on loan they should be looking at least for an EFL or similar standard club. Quote

The reason could be that Leyland haven't got readers for the tickets. So you could buy one ticket and print it off loads of times. Without photo ID there is no way of telling if the holder is entitled to the ticket. 2 Quote

rigger Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 I usually go to U21s games. But I can't be arsed tonight, even though I have already bought a ticket. This transfer debacle has pissed me off. 3 Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Sounds like Thomas is a handful already. Quote
