all you need is duff Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Raya looks decent but we already have too many young goalkeepers in the squad Quote

Kie_BRFC Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 You mean Mahoney and Nyambe Adam? Chaddy correcting spellings, never thought I'd see the day 3 Quote
Stuart Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I've been impressed. Rovers youngsters have grown into the game. Had a couple of chances with good crosses. Always going to be second best on paper and still a tough 45 minutes to go but they've done very well. Quote
hollowsr Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Good showing, Southampton showing more as half went on but as we are quite a bit younger than them a very good first half. 5 of them I think could still play for u18 Quote
ABBEY Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Chaddy correcting spellings, never thought I'd see the dayThe spawns of satan posse will be on to you Can't believe how @#/? young Rhodes is playing Quote
rovers11 Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 They've done well. Saints look far more talented on the ball, but we look strong. Nyambe does look very talented, Mahoney also looks very good. Raya looks very assured, and Rittenberg looks quite dangerous. Mansell is a real handful and puts himself about. Bauress has really impressed me, he's picked up all the loose balls in midfield. None of the others look like they'd ever have the potential to make the first team. Quote
ABBEY Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Do you go go to all u21 games or have you based that on 45 mins ? Quote
AdamRochina Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Yeah sorry using the tablet so keeps automatically spell check ng lol Quote
rovers11 Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Do you go go to all u21 games or have you based that on 45 mins ? I don't go to u21 games, that was based on my impression of the first 45 mins so I could be completely wrong about those players. Many of them I am seeing for the first time, as I suspect is the case for many other Rovers fans. It's not my job to decide which youth team players get promoted to the first team so I tend not to focus on that level too much! Quote
A cup of beans Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Done really well to contain. Seem to be well organised and actually have a game plan. Reed quite lucky to still be on. Quote
LDRover Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Raya looks a good 'keeper to me. He's got that authority about him. Not too much else to get excited about and this guy Carson is pretty much a ginger Jason Lowe. Quote
Gav Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) Very lucky goal really, great save just earlier by the Raya. Slow build up, sideways and back. Edited April 20, 2015 by GAV Quote
AdamRochina Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Poor tactics but we can't expect much with a very young side, but it's worrying that David Carson can't play football! and he's the captain Quote
Swanson Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) Raya looks a good 'keeper to me. He's got that authority about him. Not too much else to get excited about and this guy Carson is pretty much a ginger Jason Lowe. We should really try to tie up Raya or else I fear it might be a Shay Given deja vu. (If i remember that situation correctly?) Edited April 20, 2015 by Swanson Quote
Backroom Tom Posted April 20, 2015 Backroom Posted April 20, 2015 More on Southampton tonight than at Ewood Saturday Quote
perthblue02 Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) lucky equaliser but deserved after last 10 mins or so Edited April 20, 2015 by perthblue02 Quote

LDRover Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Enjoying this. Unlike the first team they are giving it a right good go. The young 16 year old number 14 looks a good un as well, comfortable on the ball and always moving forward. Quote
donnermeat Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) Have you heard this bloody commentator? Anyone would think we are a non league outfit up against the boys of la masia. Edited April 20, 2015 by donnermeat 1 Quote
