bazza Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Unless your mired in mid-table then it's a bit zzzzzzzzzzzzz Better than scrapping to avoid relegation. Ask the Wigan and Millwall fans. On Tuesday night I will really appreciate it and be glad I'm not watching a Serie A game.

Rover_Shaun Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Rotherham deducted 3 points http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32433528
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted April 24, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted April 24, 2015 Rotherham deducted 3 points http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32433528 Squeaky bottom time for those Millers....Not doing so well atm, and this will make them even more nervous!
onlyonejackwalker Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Squeaky bottom time for those Millers....Not doing so well atm, and this will make them even more nervous! No excuse. Playing someone outside of their registration. Sloppy.
Athlete Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 all betting suspended on championship relegation battle as it may well lead to court action massive OG by the football league IMV yes they broke the rules but to wait until the last week of the season to deduct points should of been done weeks back as its bit mad as has it stands Millwall or Wigan could stay up but still be relegated by a decision in a court of law..... Sunderland and Blackpool havent had points deducted for same offence and there is no clear punishment definition in the rules.....bet someone at the FL is praying Rotherham are safe after their game in hand v Reading next Tuesday
Husky Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Lucky for the FL that Rotherham have an easy home game and Millwall and Wigan are unlikely to get another win bewteen them.
Stuart Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Why weren't Blackpool deducted 3 points for the same offence earlier in the season?
AdamRochina Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Stuart I belive, and I could be wrong but I belive blackpool lost the game in which they broke the rules..whereas Rotherham won there's.. So they have deducted the three points they won with the ineligible player
Stuart Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 That's like only penalising a drunk driver if they kill someone. Rather annoyed that it gives Wigan a lifeline. A few years ago I wouldn't have bothered but the way their fans reacted when they relegated us deserves some karma.
Husky Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Sheff Wednesday 1 up. Pressure coming from below..........hopefully The Mighty LOLeeds can do us a massive favour and equalise.
Husky Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Right on cue; Leeeeeeeddddddddddddddsssssssssssssssss. 9th place is ON!!!!!
chaddyrovers Posted April 25, 2015 Author Posted April 25, 2015 could Steve McClaren's Derby County not even make the top 6 this season. Boro are losing 2 nil to Fulham.
Mike Graham Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Millwall leading. There is a chance Rotherham will go down. I prefer to go to The New York Statium rather than the New Den.
perthblue02 Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Watford just one point away from becoming Champions, wish we had their stability
Stuart Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Tbf I seem to remember Watford being very unstable in recent times.
Husky Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Watford just one point away from becoming Champions, wish we had their stability Exactly. It just goes to show what can be achieved if you stick with the same manager through turgid times. We should take note.
Backroom DE. Posted April 25, 2015 Backroom Posted April 25, 2015 That's like only penalising a drunk driver if they kill someone. Rather annoyed that it gives Wigan a lifeline. A few years ago I wouldn't have bothered but the way their fans reacted when they relegated us deserves some karma. Wigan have Brentford away next... can't see them getting anything out of that. Tbf I seem to remember Watford being very unstable in recent times. The loan rules in the Prem will cause them some problems next season.
perthblue02 Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Tbf I seem to remember Watford being very unstable in recent times. Think you missed the sarcasm
davulsukur Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Wigan nearly down. Rotherham play reading Tuesday night, there will be plenty of nervous pie munchers watching that one. I'd say I feel sorry for them but I don't. All we need is Newcastle to get relegated successively, along with Burnley of course, and life is good.
Exiled in Toronto Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Watford just one point away from becoming Champions, wish we had their stabilityYou might want to check out where they finished last year...
danger19_80 Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 That's like only penalising a drunk driver if they kill someone. It's literally nothing like the same you total idiot.
had.e.nuff Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Stuart I belive, and I could be wrong but I belive blackpool lost the game in which they broke the rules..whereas Rotherham won there's.. So they have deducted the three points they won with the ineligible player and sunderland played 4 games and only got a fine and one was a cup game that they won and stayed in the competition
Backroom Tom Posted April 25, 2015 Backroom Posted April 25, 2015 I know it happens so often but Middlesboroughs tactics of time wasting at Norwich last week made me hope they miss out on promotion - irrational as that may be (and would expect we would do the same)
