I'll be renewing (as long as they don't do something stupid with the pricing!). It's in my blood, I can't help it.

Didn't have one for a few years due to work & family commitments and still ended up spending nearly as much on individual match tickets.

With my daughter now wanting to come to every game, her ticket is such a good deal that it doesn't make any sense not to. We've only missed one home game this season (Swansea) including the Scunthorpe match, and as miffed off as I might be at a lot of the goings on, I still get the buzz that Tom mentioned.

Just hope the guys in front of me renew as it gets a bit draughty when they don't attend!

If anyone's thinking of not renewing but attending casually just because they are brassed off and no other reason then you might as well renew. You'll end up spending a lot more especially if we are miraculously playing well regularly. Don't forget likely to have Burnley back along with the other locals if they stay up plus maybe Knobbers. Just attending those would cover half an ST.

As long as they don't do anything daft with the prices it's a no brainer for people who intend to be quite regular. Doesn't matter if you miss a few with our prices.

I'm 100% 50-50

Been going since 1970 and I don't think I can stomach much more boredom, don't get me wrong I loved beating Bolton like we did but it papered over 92 mins of boredom. Then we got the brainwashing of how well we had played .Unless I am crackers it was utter sleep inducing.

love rovers but hate the venky induced boredom.

That's exactly why I've renewed for the last few seasons. It's made sense if I was going to go to more than half of the games. It's why, if I can afford it next year, I'll probably end up renewing again. I say every year I won't but economic sense says do it

Problem is after all that time you'll find it more noticeable when your forking out the best part of 30 notes for a ticket when you do attend, often twice in a few days. We did it the season after relegation because of coco we were going to do away only but ended up at virtually every home match. Eats your coin, don't notice it the same with an ST.

Mind you if something drastic happens in summer, which it might then I probably be of a different opinion. It's a tricky one this time not knowing what's going to happen. I reckon that will put a few off.

Aye fair enough. Cold turkey is the only way really, there's a few on it already. Just don't turn up at Chorley every week with a black and white shirt on singing Chorley till I die like some of em do !!

One of my family members who went away now says she went out of habit and is amazed by how little she misses it all, and I'm told there is a whole new world out there away from football. As it stands I will be the last man standing from my clan next season, but I don't feel the same buzz going down there these days. Maybe I'm in habit mode

I think Rovers ST's are dirt cheap, in fact we made a mistake with the pricing strategy a number of years ago.

The price is not an issue with me; it is the utter tripe on the pitch, the owners, the management structure, the manager etc etc etc. More importantly I have a longer term project I am investing in which will bring both income and pleasure.

I will still go to some games. I will still remain a lifetime Rovers fan. It is just I will not be at Ewood every week freezing my nuts and being bored rigid.

Going to renew - but not sure whether to switch stands.

Really like the view of the match from The Jack Walker upper, but it would be nice to do a bit of singing.

Try the JW Upper Bucks. The best view of the pitch by far.

Don't worry tomphil. Rovers will be so desperate to get the fans on there will be all sorts of cheap ticket offers during the season. The only expensive games will be Dingles and PNE but these tickets will be dead easy to get.

Unless something major happens, I won't be renewing. My interest and passion for all things Rovers is at an all time low. Going to the games has become a chore, and I'm finding myself making excuses not to bother. I've always felt that it was a massive and important part of me, but recently I've felt very detached, and it's just not the same anymore.

This goes a bit further and I'm pretty sick of football in general. The new Premier League TV deal put the tin hat in things for me I think. Football, certainly at this level and above, is not the game I used to love any more.

Waiting for Garners minutes of the Shelving meeting (no disrespect to Garners) about ST.

I agree that if the Loons do the same deal as this year, tickets at the same price, 25% when we go up (lmao), I will be tempted. Despite the dross on offer it's a night out from the home for the bewildered.

Exactly. Some must expect jam on it. I must say any drop offs now just suggest glory hunters. Just as the club needs their support most they cut and run.

With a few thousand dotted around the ground the message to the venkys will be crystal clear. The club is on it's last legs. No one cares so best to liquidate, cut and run and lick our wounds half way around the globe. The stay aways will then of course see no contributory fault in their own actions and will lay all blame on the venkymob till their dying day.

Must say I didn't see it like that Abbey. tbh I thought it was quite an enthralling contest. Different styles but both teams giving their all in a combatative and fast paced encounter. Before the match I did actually think it would be a case of after the Lord Mayors show, we'd be awful and lethargic and Bolton would do us, so I was pleasantly surprised. There is much about the unpredictability of the Championship that I like and much about the Prem that I bloody well hate.

This is very true.

It took years and a lot of patient management by JW and co to build up the fan base. Now it has been dissipated, it will be even harder to win them back given the apathy, boredom and a 'lack of buzz' which prevail.

We need an exciting product on the field of play and a little bit of charisma from an imaginative manager.

I wouldn't attend though if I stopped.

Easy said Abbey. Start winning and you'd soon be invigorated. Alternatively if you stop going and the worst happens you will have let yourself, your mates who you meet up with, the club and to an extent the town and future generations down.

Imagine Blackburn without a football team! The venkys will get the blame of course but there will be no getting away from the fact that we will all have played a part in it.

there is a clue in the word 'she'.

Unlikely , work Saturdays rushing round to watch dire football is wearing a bit thin ...Will pick my games !

If the Venkys sell up , will renew....

Somewhat contradictory. Who says the football will be any better? Anyway if everybody is like you and the V's sell up you might easily find yourself sitting in the middle of a low cost housing development.

'We' need a bit of moral fibre more.
