Baz Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Theres some comments on here that people need to step back and think about, some of them are very close to bullying.

AggyBlue Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 I've watched the Rovers for 50 odd years so I'm not going to stop now just because of an owner, manager, or whatever. At the end of the day the Rovers are my club, end of story. Good for you, I've done fifty years and don't intend to stop yet. My old man did 77 years before he stopped because of Venky's and that's his prerogative. No one has the right to say he's not a Rover through and through.
Rover_Shaun Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 It's what they do Baz. Yet they'll be the first to blame others for bringing the board down. A leaf could be take from Bob Flemings book with a point made using humour rather than nastiness. If nastiness if your bag wouldn't it be better if they got out their pent up frustrations via PM? My lines always open to the good people of Toronto

gumboots Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 That's the spirit! By the end of July, we'll have to call you abbeyboots. I'll still be in France at the end of august watching Lorient if they have a match whilst I'm there. No chance I'll be at Ewood then.
Stuart Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 I'll still be in France at the end of august watching Lorient if they have a match whilst I'm there. No chance I'll be at Ewood then. Season ticket in the bag.
gumboots Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Not the way things are at the moment. I'll take a lot of convincing especially with a new place in the lakes that will take me away most weekends
chaddyrovers Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Season tickets now on sale. http://mobile.rovers.co.uk//news/article/blackburn-rovers-season-tickets-2015-16-sky-bet-championship-2454767.aspx
Kamy100 Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Regardless of my feeling towards the owners and the disappointment of Gary not taking us forward last season in terms of a serious top 6 challenge, I will be renewing my season ticket. I love going down to Ewood and last season was the first season that my son has had his own season ticket and he wants one again next season. We sat in the family stand which was excellent but I am contemplating moving back to Jack Walker Upper Tier for next season.
Reedy You're A Star Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Makes a very refreshing change to have ST's and new kit / sponsors available and advertised this early!
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted May 13, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted May 13, 2015 When paying by DD does anyone know if the payment schedule starts in August, or is it from when you send the form off?

Bucksrover Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 I knew me spending all my money would trigger the release of the season tickets. Fair play to the club - got a lot of stick last year for the late release of shirts and season tickets - so must get some credit for getting it done early this year.
Davymac Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Just renewed online.... £309 for my lad 'n' me on the Riverside.
Mattyblue Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 The kits are certainly early by our standards, but STs? We must be the latest of the whole of the 92 clubs to have them on sale.
Kamy100 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Won't that work out a lot more expensive kamy? Aye more expensive, while I like the view from Blackburn End Upper, I do miss the side on view. I think that it'll be around £150 extra in total. Going to think about it for a few weeks.

Going to think about it for a few weeks. I rem as a kid my Dad paying for me to go in the Darwen End and instructing me to turn left and stand by the fencing whilst he went in the Enclosure with his mates and stood at the other side of the railings...... reason being there were no concessions in the Enclosure for kids back then. And people think folks are poor now! Happy days eh?

Happy days eh?I used to get lifted over a turnstile on the Enclosure................and then left on the the Enclosure wall whilst my Dad got on the @#/? at the bar under the stand.Unless he was bevying in the Fernhurst. Then I got to sit in the Vauxhall Viva with a bottle of lemonade and a packet of crisps. Yes happy days.
Mike Graham Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Regardless of my feeling towards the owners and the disappointment of Gary not taking us forward last season in terms of a serious top 6 challenge, I will be renewing my season ticket. I love going down to Ewood and last season was the first season that my son has had his own season ticket and he wants one again next season. We sat in the family stand which was excellent but I am contemplating moving back to Jack Walker Upper Tier for next season. There are 5 of us moving back from the Darren End to the JW Walker (2 are staying) so the atmosphere up there will improve many times over ;-)You cannot beat the view from the JW Upper. I used to crawl under the turnstile at the BBE. I used to do that until I was about 14 when my "figure" went as a result of starting drinking !!
bobthesock Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Why would anyone pay more for the jw stand when you get the same view from the riverside? Is it a snobbery factor?
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted May 15, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted May 15, 2015 Why would anyone pay more for the jw stand when you get the same view from the riverside? Is it a snobbery factor? You don't get the same view from the Riverside!! Pillars in the way, and at the very back you've almost got to lean forwards! Anyway, besides, JW Upper front and centre is unrivalled in terms of view!
bobthesock Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 I agree about the pillars but if you sit just in front of them in the centre then you are bang opposite Jack walkers seat!
JHRover Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Following on from the early news in terms of sponsor and kit release it seems Rovers have been faster at organising pre-season games. Away games at Accrington, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham and Tranmere and a home game against Wigan according to Wheelock.
