You know what

You bang on about venkys

They were led a merry dance too

Granted I think they will bin us now ASAP but in the list of people who have caused us harm they are far from top of the list

yea course they were and even if they were its there own stupid fault for treating rovers with no respect and EVERYTHING thats happened has happened under THEIR ownership.

Not at all for me.

Totally wanted to renew no question asked. Support the club at all times doesn't matter who the players, owners or manager are tbh.

Rovers is a passion for me.

Its apassion for everyone and thats why it hurts

That's what Blatter supporters say about him, too.

Is this a joke?

They are at the top of the list because THEY BOUGHT US AND ALLOWED THE PARASITES INTO THE CLUB IN THE FIRST PLACE. Without Venky's there is no Kean (as manager), no Jerome, no Agnew, no Shelfy, no Shebby Singh. The buck stops with them, they are the owners and they are to blame.

I know it's now popular to pretend they were just naive and silly and didn't mean it, but I don't buy it. We're talking about the owners of a huge corporation, here, not the uneducated owners of a street store. They entered into some kind of plan with SEM/Kentaro which, IMO, went awry, at which point Kean and Anderson swiftly made their exit with as much money as possible.

Led on a merry dance my arse. They played with fire and got burned.

You may find first there was Anderson and also Kean. Along came Venky's brought in by Anderson. From then with Anderson pulling the strings. out went Allardyce, then Kean was able to agree to bring in and ship out whoever Anderson told him to. Venky's trusted Anderson to deliver what he promised, but it all came tumbling down. Off they went, leaving clueless Venky's at the helm to try to run a business they know nothing about.

Venky's bought the club, they opened the door and allowed the parasites in. It was their decision therefore it's their fault. Anderson bringing it to their attention is irrelevant, he never would have gotten inside the club without them.

Surely it is the Walker Trust for selling to them in the first place. IMO the way they acted wasn't in a way that the great man would have wanted when he sadly passed away.

I disagree, the trust wanted and found a buyer, carried out all the necessary checks and sold.

They're in no way responsible for this mess, they followed the rules.

To be positive requires positives. We have two and they may not last the summer.

Posting unsubstantiated positives on a forum won't make Bowyer somehow pull some gumption and ability out of his derriere.

As a final input before I head off for a break, is it not worth considering this point.

Venkys may well have been well and truly royally screwed, so is it not a time to vent the anger at elsewhere rather than them?

They are supporting the club there is NO doubt about it, they made mistakes, they accept that and are trying to move on.

No one knows what's going on behind closed doors in relation to FFP, no one knows how the club are addressing it, or the plans or anything else to do with it.

It wont change everyone's views (my good mate Abbey included) but it might just give another perspective of the problems we have faced and continue to face

Why dont the owners appoint a proper manager ?

5yrs on and they still havent done it yet ...

Kean,Berg,Appleton and Bowyer ...4 dreadful appointments one after the other , you think they are learning from their mistakes !

Keeping Shelfie is the 'acid test'.....after the Court case comments, any Director would be removed for 'disciplinary' reasons -and 'summarily dismissed'.

2 years later he is still moving his papers round his desk(reminiscent of someone in Zurich with his 'new' shredder)

One if not all of them were surely in on the original plan of setting up companies to own players and sort of lease them to the club. Whether they knew it was wrong and whether it was just something to do rather than seriously profit from it's debatable. Either way I'm utterly convinced that they intended to / did get most of their original purchase money back at the very least, advised by the devil and his mates on that one.

It obviously didn't go to plan and they are somehow standing by the mess THEY ultimately created although it's probably more because they haven't really much choice, it's that or bust and the fall out for them wouldn't be good. Where there was once confusion and squabbling there now just seems a serious lack of interest.....apart from the interest they are paying on the debt

Absolutely not 1864.

We wouldn't have any of these issues had Venkys not come into the club and treat the whole takeover with complete and utter contempt.

These people are supposed to have millions at their disposal and could have employed proper footballing people, not 2 rats intent on feathering their own nests. You could see after the first 6 months that the club was going one way and one way only, DOWN, yet this lot still don't think they've done anything wrong.

They've ruined families, businesses, communities and a legacy that one man and one man alone built, and thats a travesty.

I often think that the sections of support that seem content with whats gone on must forget what Jack Walker did for the town and the football club.

How can whats happened at the football club not get you angry? If only for Jacks sake?

:angry2: :angry2:

don't know about the first 6 months more like the moment they appeared on the pitch like they were something and then the ignorant woman didn't have the decency to come on the pitch and did an interview up the tunnel and then left before the end.

VENKYS = No Respect for Rovers history.

To all the shall I / shant I's out there. Maybe it's fair to point out that if you didn't have bad times you wouldn't enjoy the good times. :tu:
