Athlete Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 maybe Bowyer wanted rid of Orr out of the club? also on O'Connell, didn't he want leave to go to Brentford to play there? like Glen Mullan and Mani have told you BEFORE that Bowyer select the players he wants to sign and decide who Rovers sell. How many times do we have to go over this NOW? Don't believe everything certain people tell you

thenodrog Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 er if you say bolton are in lancs then so are utd & city. Correct..... but their grounds are full remember. Burnley, Southampton, Stoke, Swansea, West Brom, Bournemouth, Watford, Norwich, and many others say you're wrong. Difference is they are well run clubs. You're also wrong about kids - decent ones (those brought up properly) know the difference between supporting your local club and glory hunters. Take your miserable mask off. There's plenty of hope for Rovers What chance have any of those got of winning a major trophy? How about that lot between them of recreating the 50's / 60's achievements of the Lancashier clubs which I mentioned above? Rule changes have made them just more bit part players / cannon fodder. Rem Jim, if you want something different to happen.... you've got to do something different. or if you prefer.... “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.” Henry Ford
Gav Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.” Henry Ford So good old Henry decided he'd fund the Nazi party, good move Henry Just sayin

gumboots Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Some of us are at work. Not that I'd be there anyway as I'm still not planning to buy one, but just saying
Gav Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 We won't be getting one this season having moved to West Midlands, but I'm already looking forward to spending Saturday's travelling to see us, home or away. Not sure how long that will last, but let I'll enjoy it while I can.
Backroom Tom Posted June 14, 2015 Backroom Posted June 14, 2015 Not given it too much thought either way, at the end of the season I was on the lines of not renewing, didn't even open my letter but not ruling it out either.
AggyBlue Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Not given it too much thought either way, at the end of the season I was on the lines of not renewing, didn't even open my letter but not ruling it out either. Sad to say that's pretty much how I feel at the moment. My letter went straight in the bin.
gumboots Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Oddly enough mine didn't. I kept it to remind me of how and when to renew in case some little glimmer of hope breaks through.
Al Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Renewed! Picked up the phone and gave 'em my debit card number. It was completely painless.
majorstyre Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 ive renewed.... dont know what to expect this season after last season.....but ah well...
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Early doors but I wonder how sales are progressing compared to other local clubs?
thenodrog Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Renewed! Picked up the phone and gave 'em my debit card number. It was completely painless. That might have been the easy bit Al. I'm expecting my pain to come through the season.
BlooBoy Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 That might have been the easy bit Al. I'm expecting my pain to come through the season. Aye on a cold November night versus someone like Birmingham...Brrrrrr
windymiller7 Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Well, I 've gone & done it! Signed up for another season of heartache, pain, false dawns & disappointment - standard fayre for a Rovers fan. I couldn't not do. It's like having a missus that you love so much, no matter how much she cheats on you, lies and kicks the dog, you keep taking her back even though you know she's not going to change! RTID
EgyptianPete Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I will probably succumb tomorrow after I pledge my allegiance tonight to somebody after yet another discussion on t'rovers, probably after seven or eight pints mind ha ha it's them blue and white eyes you know.

RTID Ah, but i wouldn't take back a cheating husband. Once and he'd be a goner. I've already taken far more from rovers tha i would from any husband. As I've said many a time - we all have our own breaking point.

RTID Those of us renewing this season deserve a lot of credit. From being one of the few clubs to win the Premiership, to being one of only two so poorly run that we are under transfer embargo. Our poor club needs us all more than ever.
