[Archived] Season tickets again!

Have it both ways if you want, but to me it makes sense to develop players for your own needs. Big Sam gave both players their debuts also. Somebody who's opinion I respect 100x compared to any single poster on here.

I respect Big Sam's opinion 100 x more than all on here too.

That's why he didn't give Lowe his debut (Lowe debut Jan 2011, Big Sam potted 2010) and only played Hanley once in an end of season dead rubber. Coincidentally Hanley's next game was Kean's first in charge.

For the sake of the atmosphere it would be good if the Darwen Enders returned to the BBE. The Stoke, Boro and Leeds games showed we can still generate an atmosphere when most of the singers are sat together in the BBE as the ones that don't start the songs normally join in when others do.

Bit silly me debating this with you because you are simply theorising from what you read in the papers. Remember I actually watch JR in the flesh from the JWU and all I see is a talented finisher in the box and a bone idle park player out of it. As I've said before he makes the difficult thing easy but imo doesn't even attempt to improve the major weaknesses in his game.

I don't think you are too wide of the mark there.

Great finisher, lacks lots of other, important parts of a forward's role and hasn't shown signs of developing it.

At least Rhodes has a talent. No one can tell me what Lowe brings to the side, other than running around a lot. However, any observed criticisms of his limitations are deemed a 'witch-hunt' by Saint Gordon while he continues to slate our 25 goal a season striker.

I don't get the Rhodes detractors . He is just about our only redeeming factor.

Dunn is fat relatively , lazy , and a moron . Good riddance . Hanley offers little either

Who mentioned Dunn? you do know he's left the club don't you?

Strange comments, you'll be having a go at Howard Gayle next

The car sort of took me to Ewood yesterday on autopilot to renew .

Moved back to the Blackburn End after 3 years in the Darwen end , hopefully the atmosphere has improved a little.

I guess the decision to renew was based on meeting up with mates on match day , rather than an expectation of the team achieving an awful lot on the pitch .

There was a few in club shop getting their first season tickets , which was encouraging . Quite a few friends who said they wouldn't renew , have also had a change of heart , citing what else would they do on a Saturday as Rovers is all they know

will it be safe for you on the blackburn end

John Williams called it the 'churn'. A few would drop off each year for varying reasons but there would always be folk getting their first season ticket.

Problem is, we lost so many fans in one go when it became apparent Kean was staying on in the summer of 2012, we now have a much lower base.

Unfortunately it's unlikely there will be anything to go to then. Seems your days at Ewood are at an end.

Could well be so but I will be £350 better off...

I also do not believe BRFC will go to the wall if the Venkys leave tomorrow , in fact I would go to the pub and celebrate..The longer they stay the more chance of the club , folding for good !

He's now banned anyway :-) (hedgehog).

Why's he been banned?

Some of his posts are a little close to the bone I agree but Jesus we've had some right ****'s on here recently that haven't been banned.

That's true Gav, but he obviously went too far. I think he made a reference to Glen Mullan's safety and called him a name. It was early this morning I noticed he was banned!

It's strange - some people think the club will fold if venkys go (my view). Some think it will fold if they stay.

My main view is that if we could get the ewood attendance higher - we would have a better chance of surviving either way.
