ABBEY Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 And Henry was excellent against Bolton. And baptiste was what against one of top sides in the country ? So you would drop someone who is here on long term loan for someone here for 30 days ? Er ok

arbitro Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 And Henry was excellent against Bolton. Excellent is stretching it a bit Chaddy. I thought he did well but Heskey bullied him a bit. But this is exactly why Sam loaned him to us, to aid his development. If Simon Church plays for Charlton today I expect a similar approach. As all managers say competition is good and it gives them decisions to make (which is what they are paid for).

As all managers say competition is good and it gives them decisions to make (which is what they are paid for). I was going to say exactly this, I thought he struggled at times against Heskey, who had a good game as far as I'm concerned. Don't think he gave the ball away all game, some of his flick ons and lay offs were top quality. It's understandable that a rookie would find it tough against an old head like Heskey, especially with him being such a big unit. Henry will certainly have easier games that's for sure.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 After our last few results I'm feeling slightly confident, but we all know what happens then. So I'll take a draw now.
JWUpper Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 @OneRovers: ROVERS: Steele, Henley, Henry, Baptiste, Spurr, Conway, Williamson ©, Cairney, Marshall, Brown, Rhodes.
JWUpper Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Kilgallon and olsson out with hip and hamstring injuries according to the club Twitter account...
AllRoverAsia Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Boro score 4 - the threat of Rhodes joining was effective
Bucksrover Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Evans and Spearing on the bench - williamson starts. Gestede benched - brown starts. Wouldn't have been my choices
AllRoverAsia Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Thought Spearing would get a start after having to miss games recently
Backroom Tom Posted March 14, 2015 Backroom Posted March 14, 2015 I don't know why we are persisting with Brown He's due a goal so may bag today but still ridiculous having him in before Rudy
mattjansen Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Working today so trying to get radio Rovers on in the car, when does the broadcast start? Nothing on now.
G Somerset Rover Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Has Rudy had some starting league bonus inserted into his contract or something? Absolutely ridiculous. Why not start your best player?
Mercer Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Bemused with that selection. Given up trying to work out the logic. Plays off a remote hope, we need to win virtually all remaining games so the one striker who terrorises and intimidates defences is left on the bench having been 'rested' midweek.
ABBEY Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Brown .. After weds night haha bowyer is billy balloo
LDRover Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 The Spearing omission for Williamson is absolutely mistifying. The Gestede omission is only slightly behind that one for me.
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 I don't know why we are persisting with Brown Brown was ok against Bolton. In some ways it is better for Gestede - as Brown can be used to soften up the defence prior to a fresh Gestede coming on (in theory of course), As someone else remarked - amazed that Spearing isn't playing today.
Husky Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Evans and Spearing on the bench - williamson starts. Gestede benched - brown starts. Wouldn't have been my choices GG's tombola doesn't do logic. 1-1 today. And still in progression mode......

I thought Heskey was useless. spent most of his time on the floor after going down fat too easy and diving @OneRovers: ROVERS: Steele, Henley, Henry, Baptiste, Spurr, Conway, Williamson ©, Cairney, Marshall, Brown, Rhodes. abit surprised that Gestede and Spearing aren't starting. going for 3-1 win today
The Rover of Finland Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Very strange choices to leave Spearing and Gestede on bench.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 I can understand Rudy having a rest but I'd have given Spearing a start today.
