And baptiste was what against one of top sides in the country ? So you would drop someone who is here on long term loan for someone here for 30 days ? Er ok

1. It might have been in the deal with allardyce that Bowyer plays him as often as he can. WHU obviously want him blooding in 1st team football and wouldn't want him sitting on our bench.

and

2. Baptiste can't get injured if he isn't playing.

I thought Heskey was useless. spent most of his time on the floor after going down fat too easy and diving

abit surprised that Gestede and Spearing aren't starting.

going for 3-1 win today

How many times did he give the ball away though Chaddy? And how many headers did he lose? Could count them both on one hand. His one touch link up play was great at times.

Brown was ok against Bolton. In some ways it is better for Gestede - as Brown can be used to soften up the defence prior to a fresh Gestede coming on (in theory of course),

As someone else remarked - amazed that Spearing isn't playing today.

I agree with all that DMTP. For some reason some people have decided Brown brings nothing to the party and the usual whispering campaign has started up. As far as I have seen he is the best back top goal player that we have and imho was a strong contender for MoM v Bolton. Suffice to say Lennon must have thought so too because he very quickly put two players on marking him for long ball situations. Facing goal he is behind Gestede but playing away he will embelish midfield far better than Rudy and give our defence a proper target and buy them time if Charlton are pressing. As you say if he can help keep it tight for 70 mins before introducing a fresh and raring to go Rudy makes perfect sense for an away game. Must say I'd still like to see him paired with King up ahead for games like this today.

Put him in the team and he scores. Better make the most of them while we can.

Conway another player who has really hit form recently. A shame we've left it so late to start doing this...

Has Rudy had some starting league bonus inserted into his contract or something?

Absolutely ridiculous. Why not start your best player?

1) Gestede couldn't move after 55 mins at Anfield. Not surprising he's being wrapped in cotton wool.

2) He isn't our best player. Rhodes is.

Just said on Skysports that that is 150 goals in 278 league starts for Rhodes. Phenomenal. The lad is PROVEN quality which is why we paid 8m for him and why we'll make a profit on him if he is sold in the summer.

It's about time we had an easy league win. Ideally we should go and get another couple of goals...........we don't want yet another another a goal hanging on situation.

Spot on.

Whilst a big win would be great for momentum and goal difference any win is welcome

Let's hope other results start going our way as we need snookers as it stands

Beating Brentford is a must and on this run would expect we will
