Anyone tell me how the two Young lads on the bench could have made things worse towards the end

No imagination, no nouse, no idea!

We have a former academy coach as manager who's unwilling to blood the youngsters. It's weird.

Three or four clubs snapping at our heels now in the Teeter to Tenth

GB RR interview highlights

Worst half since we have been in charge

unlucky with two magnificent saves by their GK

Strong words at Half time

Injuries limited options what we could bring on

Use Int break to get bodies fit and back

Standard of goal conceded shocking

Standard we expected and set, not met today

Totally understand fans frustration today

We had a good go second half

We expected a response and players have always gave a response but not today

Hell of a lot left to play for

Some played themselves in and out of cup game

Very interesting today, learnt some things about the team

A shame he didn't learn anything about the team in the last year and a half or so he's been in charge.

Better second half of the second half but a quarter of a match isn't enough to decide to attack - and even then it was pretty abject. Felt sorry for Brown when he was subbed. It's not his fault he's not a footballer. The trouble is, he is the level of player we are going to be able to afford in future. Still, it was distasteful when his name was greeted with cheers as he left the field. He looked around as he went off - I can only imagine he was disgusted.

To be fair though - 13,000 Rovers fans (aye, ok) were pretty disgusted with what they had witnessed until that point. At the end of the day, money from our pockets is finding its way into at least part of those players' pockets so fair's fair.

Where do we go from here? Only one place - downward. If we play like that for the rest of the season we will finish not far off the bottom three and the so-called progress myth will be dispelled. Maybe that's what it will take and maybe the players know it.

We sounding out potential new managers now and give Bowyer his cup final against Liverpool then say thanks very much and move on. He deserves that much but that should be that.

Listening to his post match interview on RR after the game I can't believe he is the person motivating our players. Although at half time today, I actually could.

P.S. That £29 offer really hasn't worked has it.

Well we certainly plumbed new depths today.

The "action" was just about summed up in the first half. Brown, facing completely the wrong way, attempted a header which was nearer the corner flag than the goal. From the resultant goal kick play went down the other end and Kilgallon launched a spectacular diving header into his own net. Shambolic beyond belief.

Don't really know where to start with that pile of crap and I'm so angry but a few random observations:

1) Brown gets worse every time he plays and looked like a Pub player when he started. Should never pull on the shirt again.

2) Spearing looks like he's lost interest. See d him back and let's see if one or two young lads look like they might have what it takes.

3) Evans has been woeful all season

4) Olsson isn't good enough. Weak defensively poor final ball and goes over if anyone breaths on him.

5)Players like Marshall Conway and King are way too inconsistent over the course of a season.

6) Surely no one can really think that we have any chance of progression with Bowyer in charge. Most teams look to go forward with the ball when they get it. Our players seem to look to turn their back to the opposition goal and play the ball backwards. It's quite weird.

7) What's the point in insisting in lining up with two wide men or wingers every game then constantly punting an aimless long high ball down the middle. There's no point.

8) Spurr for Taylor at 1-0 down. WTF is that all about?

Fuming. The rest of the season will be a similarly futile exercise and really a new manager should have been brought in a month or so ago so the rest of the season could have been used productively in assessing the squad.

The key in the Championship is hard workers and a bit of pace, we have neither. We have one player that could do the 100m in less than 20 seconds and quite frankly that is appalling in terms of building a squad.

Bowyer isn't the man, never was, never will be. The play is like his personality and in that respect we are very much his team. I'm fully aware the indian scum may appoint kinder or someone equally daft but unless a positive managerial change is made I won't be going to home games next season and just stick to away games for the crack.

I'm tired of saying it too. Our whole squad run like the turf is treacle. He's bought in about 30 players and not one of them have pace. Very very amateur.

Olsson isn't good enough? Have you been to any games this season?? He's been one of the stand outs all season! And again today! (Though granted that wasn't tough!!)

Totally deflated after that. At least I felt I watched a good game of football on Tuesday, today was a dire game and an even more dire performance.

Main observations today were, in horse racing parlance, Cairney and Marshall need to be on 'going days'. Unfortunately, those days are few and far between. Strange that Marshall was fit to play as well today after his 'injury' on Tuesday, I suspect a poor attitude is more at play.

Brown looks completely lost and if he is spearheading the forward line next year as suspected I really fear for us.

Hoofball is well and truly back at Ewood, only a far more ineffective version than previously seen.

At 1 down why did Bowyer not change things. 2 young lads on the bench desperate to make an impression and 4 or 5 on the pitch just tossing it off? Just make the change and give them 10 minutes at least. Or why not go 3 at the back, they played with one up top all game it's not like it was a reckless change.

It's all a bit sad really. A manager who is on a free roll for as long as he wants it with no hope of the promotion we desperately need but with a stack of excuses for underachieving and a dwindling disenchanted fanbase.

Exciting times?
