They'll look to sell may of next year if no promotion push? Oh, that's reassuring.

Who the bloody hell would want to buy us? Not even if we were for sale for a pound.

They'd have to write off one hundred million pounds plus of debt and even then they'd still have to sell for less than they bought.

There is also the prospect of trying to sell a league one team.

I think this summer is going to be depressing but next summer even worse

Maybe what 2 or 3 of us need to be doing is to book a short trip to Poona and ask for a 1-1 with Mrs D and/or her brothers.

We probably won't get an "audience" but we get masses of coverage including the Indian media.

Anyone up for it? It should not be more than say £1500 each.

The above makes me wonder what damage Gary is doing to the club.

He was great initially but now I guess (stress that word) he is just saying whatever it takes to keep his job, if so the integrity we heard about is down the drain.

This what so angers and frustrates me.

Have suspected for a long time that 'Saint' Gaz isn't all he's cracked up to be.

His post match comments yesterday that play-offs still on an insult to the fans and all about self preservation (words for Pune) as I've little doubt that he thinks M'boro will be back in for Rhodes and he's desperate to scrape every last point to shore up his own position.

They are being constantly fed the line that fans are happy with the ownership now and the direction that the club is heading in. This is coming from everyone at the club who has direct communication with the owners. There are a few of us who have over the last 6 months who have told them that this is not the case and that fans are not happy with the way that the club is being run.

The fact of the matter is that Gary has the support of Mrs Desai, he is working to her orders in terms of bringing costs down and developing the players that we have at the club, she is delighted at the success of signings such as Cairney, Marshall and Gestede. All of whom will be sold for a profit, in Rudy's case for a huge profit. This is a model that she can work with, as previous to this all the other managers have ended up costing her a lot of money. Gary will generate a profit. So I cannot see her sanctioning a sacking.

My personal feeling is that they will look at what happens next season and if we are not mounting a promotion push come Christmas they will start the process of looking to sell the club by May 2016, they have committed to fund the club until then.

IMV, their words in the club's accounts are worthless, meaningless and not binding - all about getting the auditors to sign off the accounts.

Their track record on 'commitments' stinks, IMV.

We heard the same thing last season, they'll look at the situation in May, they've committed to funding for the next 12 months. Sorry but it's just guesswork being posted. As Mercer says they have to say that for the accounts they can't say anything else. Fact is they'll look at the situation when and if they can be bothered and when there is 5 mins between parties, religious festivals or suddenly managing to fly half way round the world to visit some dignitaries somewhere !

but Shaw just runs the club for the owners. he isn't going to do anything that put his job in danger.

on Myers, sorry to hear about the health issues.

Abbey, can I ask you what kind of communication are you after and on what topics about please? (serious question)

How wonderfully naïve,

NOT

Let's look at this from Shaw and Myers' perspective. They're on 'X' amount of thousands, probably £100k plus for keeping the club running on a day-to-day basis. Given that their jobs will go if the lot in India sell up, I can't see them putting up with another season like this year, especially if the threat of Venkies moving on, is hanging over them.

After two of the most abysmal showings in
Rovers history the silence from these two wage stealers is deafening . Not a dickie bird from them .

Shaw's waiting until summer I think. He's been tasked with turning the club's finances round. There's absolutely no was that a change won't happen when season ticket sales are absolutely dire. It'll save money too. Let's also remember that Myers has a job to do here too, which is to listen to the fans. If he's not banging the drum for Gary's removal in summer, he's failing in his job.

The High Court fiasco re: Shaw going rogue, what more proof do we need he took one for the team. The team being an inner sanctum of chancers, idiots, palm greasers, and liars. The fact he is still in a position at our club is evidence enough that we are still run by folk not fit to utter the name of Jack Walker. It makes me sick.

Developing the players we have at the club? Really?

Cairney and Marshall are going backwards, Gestede will too if he doesn't get the move he so obviously wants.

The fans haven't turned full square on Bowyer YET but that will surely happen either later this season or next, (that's the few still at Ewood to witness the dross served up).

Shaw will be on a hell of a lot more than £100K.

  • Moderation Lead

He is, most of the other directors are on £100k, but Shaw is on way more than that, sure there was a reference to that in the last year's accounts?

The cost of Rovers employing Shaw (assuming he's the highest paid director which he almost certainly is) is approaching a staggering £220k:

  • Salary £173k (2013/14 accounts)
  • Employers' NI @ c14% £24k
  • Pension £16k (2013/14 accounts)
  • Other benefits £4k (2013/14 accounts)
  • Total £217k

Sadly, he's laughing all the way to the bank.

Of course they do, because fans have never mounted a meaningful protest. I'm too old for all that now but anyone who grew up in the 1960s and 70s at Ewood know how it's done.

What an absolutely embarassing farce that is. This is the clown, is it not, who negotiated Bergs contract? The guy who was brought in by Agnew (A Programme Editor), Anderson (A Tantric Dancer) and Kean (Bullsh1t Man). A Preston North End fan. A man in the most senior position at Ewood for crying out loud!??! A guy who if he makes three statements to the press in a season then clearly needs to go and hibernate inbetween.

He has offered and will continue to offer nothing. Bowyer has his faults, absolutely, however I don't believe Shaw gives a toss either way. If he does he certainly doesn't show it. Best just to keep quiet eh Derek? Keep out of the firing line, it's worked so far after all.

As for Myers, he's ill apparently, good to see Derek take on the club communication role in his absence isn't it? Work that little but harder and justify his ridiculous salary. Ultimately I wouldn't trust him to run a bath let alone BRFC. God knows what they think he brings to the club.

Seems he has the most cushy job in Blackburn. I hate him as much as did Coco, I've very rarely used the hate word, but the man is in one hell of a well paid job, failing at every level. In another universe, where success merits reward, he would be on the minimum wage.

Best interests of the club.......best interests of his bank account. Charlatan, cretin, chancer, liar.....so sue me!

No one is buying Blackburn Rovers in May 2016 for any amount when there is £100m+ of debt to pay off.

Unless Venkys happen to know of a billionaire who sticks his underpants on his head, puts 2 pencils up his nose and sits in the corner saying "wibble"
