Any team who have such strong strike forces should be serious contenders for promotion, as long as the manager knows what he's doin with the rest of the team that is :rover:

Knobbers should have walked that automatic 2nd spot anyway.

Who says I like Preston? I hate them as I do Burnley but I want rovers to play them and beat them , it's ok when they are division's higher or below and we all says who's best ect but now we can prove it on the pitch!

More derbys to go to next season for me as it will be my first season I can go to more then one game , il be going to Burnley and Preston at home for certain and a few other home games like mk dons and Huddersfield

How terribly disappointing from Swindon.

AdamRochina...the majority of Nob Enders fans hate Rovers with a passion.

I've lived in Preston for 40 years, never had a moments hatred, always found them very friendly and occassionally surportive.

Preston are nothing to us other than another local team. If in rivalry terms Bolton are a very poor man's Burnley then Preston are a very very poor man's Bolton. Still nice to beat all our nearest and dearest.

'Stand up if you hate Rovers' was one song i remember from the last time we were at Deepdale. They're also even worse than Burnley for their 'big club, big support' @#/?. Fair play to them being 4-up but i sincerely hope we @#/? stuff them next season. Make no mistake, they hate us. I've lived and worked amongst them for 40 years. It will be a bit of an eye opener for some of our younger fans when the dirty nobbers turn up at Ewood next season. Horrible lot.

Well spoken.

Kicked and punched in the back of the head as a 16 yr old whilst walking away from Ewood across the gravel parking after a pre season game against these lot. Bottles and coins hurled at us outside Sheepdale on promotion night with girlfriend in tow. Woke up to find a brick through car windscreen the morning after said night when I parked it outside house i lived in on A6 near Whittle. Presumably by one of these lot because of the Rovers badge in window.

Just a few experiences of these turds and that's before i mention some of the ones i know, have worked with or come across in pubs etc. It's a real rivalry to some that's for sure. Not fair to tar them all and there's a few I'm happy for but i personally hate PNE and always have, with good reason.

Wonder if "pressure of the local derbies"will be getting an airing in the excuses roll call next season

' Big club (that never was), good team, spent five shirt buttons, Joe Garner magnificent, FFP, embargo, we really miss x,y or z who are injured (but never play anyway), we miss the pace of Josh' so on and so forth :rover::mellow:

Glad to see North End finally make it through the play-offs thoroughly deserved. Like the old days with North End, Bolton and Burnley amongst the opponents. Was a time when we were all in the top flight together along with Blackpool - those were the days and sadly, not likely to see those days come again with the way football works today. Never had an issue with any of the local rivals so it should make for some excellent games to look forward to next season.

Another club that dislikes us then. Nothing worse than unrequited hatred eh. Believe it or not a good mate is an Oldham fan and they are another one in that category. They still sing about us!!!

Oldham, bloody hell, can't remember the last time we played them. went there a couple of times in the 80's, didn't realise they didn't like us either. Think we can put it all down to jealousy!
