Well done PNE. I was in the pub cheering every goal.

Why should a Lancashire lad like me be cheering on the southern softies against a Lancashire club?

I enjoy local derbies. We're losing Blackpool and Wigan. Welcome back into our division Burnley and North End.

A real pity we've lost Blackpool and Wigan. Could have done with them staying up and Owdham coming up with the big club mk2, would have made for an interesting season.

Couldn't really care less about PNE, makes our task harder next season with 1 more local derby though with Bpool and Wigan gone.

I bet shelfy and Agnew are on cloud 9 tonight, wonder if they went?

Some of those goals wouldn't happen in the championship. Preston will hold their own, have the physicality for it.

It's not North Ends fault we've been dragged down to their level. Our car crash is self inflicted. I think they've got enough to stay up and give us two tough games. Can't say I'm overly bothered one way or the other but there will be more general interest than trailing to Swindon. Commercial department will be happy. Win the games and they are great. Grayson has taken Leeds, Huddersfield, Blackpool and PNE up. Got to think he will click a division higher one day.

Gallagher, Garner, Davies and Beckford. Too good for that division. Should have gone up automatically.

Their forwards were fine, the defence was the problem. Their inabilty to keep a clean sheet especially when in the lead cost them a top two spot.

I'm with abbey on this and I don't care a single jot for Preston - Id rather Swindon have gone up so I could tick off another ground.

Preston fans are very bitter to rovers fans - they think we are all plastics. They also like to think they are better supported then they actually are (a bit like burnley fans!) They are also portrayed as some sort of sleeping giant. Utter rubbish!

The fact they could only muster a measly 22k for the play off final sums it up. Our home gates have nosedived but recent history suggests we would still take 30k to a wembley final.

I'm not advocating violence but I hope Rovers fans come out in force and stand up for themselves when PKE fans roll in to Blackburn. It's about time we stopped getting bullied off large away support.

I think a major factor in that is the number of tickets made available to the away fans...

Not many grounds have an away end like the Darwen End...

Delighted for Preston as I have strong family links with the city.

For me, the more NW teams we have in football's higher echelons the better.
