Dunnfc Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 They're the Plastics now. The Big Club that never was would have gone bust if it wasn't for Hemmings. And who was the great commander in chief who ran up the debts ?? Bet you thought of similar thoughts when Ridsdale took charge at Plymouth and Cardiff? Once scarred Once Burnt. Although something about "Degsy" don't strike me with brilliance, more on a personal level though.

ABBEY Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Looking forward to the usual pre match hype of 'we have fans in all stands' from our excitable Burnley and 'Invincible/We are Superior' friends! You just know its happening  last time we played em we DID have fans all over their ground.Thousands
onlyonejackwalker Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Shows how far we've fallen we are now getting all excited about Preston.
tomphil Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 I'm not advocating violence but I hope Rovers fans come out in force and stand up for themselves when PKE fans roll in to Blackburn. It's about time we stopped getting bullied off large away support. The dead pub scene in the town centre doesn't help matters. A handful of home fans in a handful of pubs scattered about makes it easy for large groups of visitors to take over. There isn't really a town centre pub/bar area like most places have where large groups of home fans seem to congregate before games I don't think. If anything goes off it seems to be long after games when the stragglers are about if the tales are true. At least you their disabled, family and older groups won't get attacked in a local club by weapon wielding inbred Neanderthals

It's about time we stopped getting bullied off large away support.Preston have been very active in recent years and in big numbers by all accounts. I'm surprised the police haven't really cracked down on the group the way they've done in burnley and here to a lesser extent after the cherry tree fit up.Whilst we're the biggest club, especially in terms of support, we've no hooligan scene to speak of, but you look at burnley and Preston it's still as popular as ever, or was until the police jailed those nuggets down the M65 ??
ABBEY Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Man its been hell , dogs abuse for poor ol'me . Family member giving it large about 6 points but all gob, wouldn't take my £50 a point offer over the two games.

Saw this guy in B&Q Blackburn yesterday wondering round muttering about Preston under his breath, looked like he was about to explode, I kept well away....
thenodrog Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Seems there were no plans in place for any victory celebrations by the club or the council. (The council don't want to disrupt Market Day.... and anyway who tf possesses an open top bus in Preston?). The term 'damp squib' springs to mind.
Rover_Shaun Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 What are the odds on us finishing lower than Nobend and the Dingles next season?
onlyonejackwalker Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 What are the odds on us finishing lower than Nobend and the Dingles next season? That would be very little fun after all these years. PNE will hopefully be consistent and stay marooned with the dead legs all season. Might be tough for Burnley this time round. Sneaky feeling they will struggle.
thenodrog Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 So we're all destined for a relegation scrap then? Happy days eh?
Ryan Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Fixtures out on 17th June. Really hope Preston isn't a bubble match.
USABlue Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 What are the odds on us finishing lower than Nobend and the Dingles next season?Almost guaranteed I'd say
AllRoverAsia Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 What are the odds on us finishing lower than Nobend and the Dingles next season? Tears when I read that - it's going to happen
Waggy76 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Tears when I read that - it's going to happen I would amazed if it didnt , unfortunately ...
Rover_Shaun Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 I think we'll finish higher than one of them. More hope than judgement. After all Grayson has it all to proove at this level
Jock Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 A PKE told me he went in the Rovers Team coach for the Wembley play off. I presume our coach is just on lease so can be hired out to whoever, but it still sticks in the throat.

I presume our coach is just on lease so can be hired out to whoever, but it still sticks in the throat. I remember Bolton trotting about in the Everton team coach when Big Sam was there. Used to work near where they trained and it used to pick them up complete with huge Everton badge painted on the rear. I used to laugh about it.............
Jock Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Aggers and Shelfie owning the back seat on the coach, especially as Shelfie is Topboy in the Parrot Squad,

Backroom Tom Posted June 2, 2015 Backroom Posted June 2, 2015 I've seen some Low things but this is a shocker http://www.itv.com/news/granada/update/2015-06-02/preston-fan-admits-she-lied-about-having-terminal-cancer/ The woman on the pitch who was dying of cancer actually never had cancer at all
