Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted November 14, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted November 14, 2015 Whatever the number, they won't match it at Ewood, even if we gave them the full Darren End ;-)

Baz Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Get in their pubs...'talk the talk' my arse! I know a lot of Rovers fans couldn't care less about north-end but Im telling you, a lot of them hate us. And like any small-time club, they have a few idiots. Just keep your wits about you.
Colt Seavers Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Picked up two tickets at the club shop right on opening time this morning. Business was extremely brisk!
tomphil Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Biggest away support at a regular league game since....? Did we ever have 5500,at Wigan? I can't remember more during the Premier League era. 5100 was the max then they started netting off the end section at the JJB as it was then so it was cut down a bit. Aside from cup games it'll be the biggest league following for donkeys years if it does sell out. A good few times we could have sold a lot more for Bolton and Burnley had they the generous amount of room we have at Ewood
AllRoverAsia Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Anyone know how many so far? Rovers website says sold out
tomphil Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Maybe Stoke in 88? Barnsley in the 91-92 season maybe ?
tomphil Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 We often have when there's been a big following, somewhat blowing the theory that great support wins you games as some like to make out.
matt83 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 I've always liked Preston as our smaller neighbours (although that very sentiment may stick in their craw) while we were in the prem they were playing Burnley we went often with a Preston fan mate. And I enjoyed their rivalry. In fact one year went to turd in a rovers scarf and no Preston fan batted an eye. Few of us also went to deepdale after finney died when they played orient I think. Found them to be a lot more pleasant than our 6 fingered friends and those from noblot. Anyway when it comes to Saturday 3 points only!!!
tomphil Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 At least they refer to the dingles as dingles unlike notlob who try to paint us with that because they can't think of anything else. Infact I do believe it was Preston who started all the inbred stuff towards Burnley years ago then our lot took it to new levels when our rivalry renewed.
mhead Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Maybe the return of the large Flag for this match.....to show our 'ferocious loyalty' This web-site seems to have doubled its interest this week and posters(including some of the old 'lags')

Guest Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Rovers website says sold out Tickets are still available from what I can see.
Guest Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 According to the official Facebook account, Rovers expect the tickets to sell out by Monday, so get in quick if you haven't already done so.
AllRoverAsia Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Tickets are still available from what I can see. Thx. I must have read it wrong
Ryan Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 If any Scottish based Rovers from here are heading down to this one then I have two train tickets they can use, free of charge. Was supposed to be 6 of us going down but two have had to pull out. Glasgow - Preston 8.40am and Preston - Glasgow 7.40pm. Pm me if you want them.
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Lets hope it isn't another anti-climax - getting really bored going to local away matches only for us to get beat. With recent away trips to Wigan being particularly painful.

1864roverite Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Have to miss the game as we booked a weekend away before the season started. Enjoy the game I just hope we put the nobbers in their place.
damo100 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 The 5,500 fans at Preston next Saturday is just under the 5,800 fans who have followed Rovers in the previous 6 away games. I believe if Preston gave us a bigger allocation (7-8000) we would have shifted them. A fill week to go.
Jock Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Most PKE fans I've had the misfortune to talk to support 2 clubs. Whoever is winning everything at the time and they also have their Tinpot club.
