Gary has gone the same way as the other PNE trolls who have problems with the truth and blatantly trolling. Some people just can't handle defeat so they make up lies.

Posted on here many times about northenders obsession about support. How many have posted on this thread so far 3? Each of them came on to talk about fans, none of them about the game. They really are a bitter lot. They always have been as far as I remember and I go back more than 50 years. They've got nothing to shout about football wise and I doubt they ever will. The foundations just aren't there.

They're basically just envious and jealous having had to watch all the other local clubs having their share of success over the years, while they've been struggling around the old third and fourth divisions playing before crowds of 2000.

You've lost me on that one. Who let the dogs out?

I think you'll be surprised bud. Most of our away support is made up of lads aged 16-40....Not silver surfing OAP's wrapped in tartan picnic blankets.

I knew there must be a reason why you're so good at running away

I was reading the thread, generally just interested in your fans view of the game, day out etc.....when I noticed the numerous posts praising your support, "Best Deepdale has ever seen" etc, so I thought I'd try and add a bit of balance and realism.

I thought our following was pretty decent to be honest. Not the best but decent enough. How would you compare it, Gary, to the following we brought over in October 1974?

Why can't you just accept that you weren't that loud? It's not people saying they'd take a dump on your parents heads; it's opposition fans saying they were surprised how vocally quiet you were at a football match FFS. It's not the end of the world lads. Accept it, dust yourselves off, and carry on.

This is the view from the home end, immediately after your first goal. You can hear absolutely nothing from the away end, apart from about 200 people singing "Who are ya" for about 6 seconds.

If that was 5,500 Dingles, Lashers or PNE fans in there, the noise would be deafening.

I suppose you're just a less passionate bunch than your Lancs neighbours. No shame in that, like.

Bitter about absolutely nothing.

Brilliant numbers from Rovers, but poor vocally.

Accept it like a man.

And your fans are the sh1ttest in the north west, not a big club, never will be

There were a few people vocally supporting Man U against Watford in the Adelphi pre-game. The pub seemed to empty towards our kick off time as well.

Make of that what you will.

Yet we are the plastics!

Let him stay, he's hilarious.

Are we going to start on reserve game attendances next?

Maybe he can answer the question I asked Nobber, when was the last time North End averaged more than Rovers? (Not in hypothetical scenarios, but factually)

Don't take it personally fellas. No need to well up.

You are either aged 13, have an unusually small c0ck, or more likely both. Now p1ss off back to your Playstation.

Most of our usual away support is lads 16-50. Think that's the same for most clubs away followings!

You also keep referring to our generic songs. What unique song do PNE have?! I'm not aware of any. You sing 'can't help falling in love' but so do a lot of teams. At least we have 'the wild rover' which is only sung by us and burnley.

DONT TAKE THIS PERSONALLY OR WELL UP .... :wstu:

But why oh why did you have a banner with NOBBERS PRIDE OF LANCASHIRE?

Cannot fathom for the life of me why you think this?

Blimy what have you done in your lifetime or over the years to make such a stupid claim?

if you had put @#/? of lancs then you would be nearer the truth. It pains me to say but even burnley have more of a claim to it than you deludes of the big club thats never been.

You dont even have any chuffing rivals any more..Fleetwood and Fylde FC have Blackpool now. We have the carrots. Oooops silly me Brig .

pride of lancs ..dont talk like a Knob.

(ps for the regulars ...no im not back it just needed saying)

sounds like hes one of the piky primark benefit army.

You came in good numbers, but i was very disappointed in your vocal support.

Bloody hell Gaz lad, I was disappointed in yours as well but I don't feel the need etc.

You have to remember that our club until relatively recently has been used to playing in the top tier, in Europe even. Some big games, trophies even. It's possibly akin to drinking champagne* for many years then having to get used to mild. No offence to Preston or anything but.... The only one we care about is that lot down the other end of the M65.

You also have to remember just how bad / badly mismanaged we've been for the last few years. Small steps and all that but last Saturday might just be a turning point. It was very important that we got off to a good start. For that I'd like to thank PNE. I think there were a lot of nerves about when you pulled one back.

Still, 3 points is 3 points. You get nowt for out singing anyone, which is just as well if Saturday was anything to go by for you guys. For what it's worth, I think you'll probably be fine this season and just stay up.

(* completely overrated - but you get my point)

All I've ever heard from Knobbers is how big a crowds they'll get if they ever make the Prem. Obviously the people who run them thought this as well that's why they finished of Weepdale with the tiny invicibles podium giving them a whopping capacity of about 20k.

Even so the ground would prob be packed just like it is for pre season friendlies and cup games against the big four. But of course they wouldn't be plastic part timers or fickle wood crawlers. No they'd be super fans with real passion !

I'll tell you what Preston - Nob Off :P

ANOTHER Nobber?! I can't remember this site ever having such an extensive parade of bitter opposition fans before. Do the dingles even have this many on pre/post match? I thought Blackpool were there rivals? Either they have an unusually bitter and petty fanbase or an unhealthy obsession and massive chip on their shoulder when it comes to Rovers. Just like Bolton eh, this one sided infatuation.

Just in case you didn't understand it the first hundred times Gary, your farce of a club based in THE most gloryhunter infested "football" town in England is like an annoying insect to us. Irrelevant and inferior for decades, and likely to stay that way.
