onlyonejackwalker Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I remember about 50 Crewe fans singing 'your not famous anymore' at their ground the year after relegation from the Premier League. This is the problem when standards slips. The likes of PNE feel they suddenly have a voice and are equally matched. Fingers crossed we leave them all behind again and they can worry about their massively vocal and passionate crowds all on their lonesome.

robbo_rovers Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I was in the Preston end and during the first half they were singing 'you're not famous anymore'. Which I found quite funny as I'm sure I had heard it was their biggest league crowd in a while?
onlyonejackwalker Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 There wasn't any punctuation when Crewe sang it!
Josh Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 The video being recorded on a calculator didn't do it any favours
den Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I think one of them northenders has given me flu. Gonna take disinfectant next time. Spray em all.
ABBEY Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 ha nobber I know has been on do and was chatting with Moyes. Moyes says Nobbers are the GREATEST club hes ever worked for.You couldnt make it up. They are THE most Delusional fans in thw WORLD.

tomphil Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 I'm told this lot still had a handful of tickets left on Fri out of their whopping 2.5k allocation for this so called big rivalry. Still it was a big improvement on the 800 they took there last time ! A bit non plussed about this result, always nice to see dingles beat but can't be doing with Preston and I'd glady swap them with Bolton and send them back to where they came from

Understandable really, them being a big City club and all that.
yoda Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 You could plainly see the empty seats in the nobbers end on the tele
Gary Paul Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 I'm told this lot still had a handful of tickets left on Fri out of their whopping 2.5k allocation for this so called big rivalry. A bit non plussed about this result, always nice to see dingles beat but can't be doing with Preston and I'd glady swap them with Bolton and send them back to where they came from 800? Last time we played at turf moor was August 2013, on a Tuesday night in the Carling cup.......and we took 3,000. Aye, the Nobbers really showed us with that away following. Understandable really, them being a big City club and all that. You can only sell what you're given. We took 2,000 to Fulham last week.....how many did you lot take earlier on bud? 700 was it?.......I think it was y'know. You could plainly see the empty seats in the nobbers end on the tele Completely sold out. Soz. "pnefc @pnefc Dec 4 We have now sold our full allocation for tomorrow's Lancashire derby at Turf Moor! There will be no tickets available on the day. #COYW 71 retweets 42 likes" How many did you lot take to Bristol City? Because we took 1,100 this time last year, in League one. You surely beat that figure, right?
Mattyblue Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 You sold out Friday evening, Ergo, 2500 was plenty. Why's that Gary? Because you play them nearly every year so the novelty's worn off. You've not played Fulham in years, it's a good bit of London, your southern based fans will be there, plus those that fancy a weekend away, and a lot of clubs take plenty, ergo you took a good following. When you played Bristol City it was game between two clubs going for promotion, so you took an enormous 1000 fans. When Rovers and PNE play the same clubs year after year, we take fewer fans, you just proved it on a grand scale on Saturday, so give it a rest.
McClarky Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Blah blah, boring. We're all sounding like Dingles now. Who cares?
BlueMonday Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Nice to hear from a Nobber, thought they had become extinct after their whipin'. You can play attendance Bingo all you want, but we all know the truth. Glad your having your fun in the sun in the big league. It will keep you going after your inexorable slide down to whence you came. And the best of British for beating The Ferret Worriers on Sat. That will come in handy.
Mattyblue Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 As den says, they are obsessed with crowds, that is all they talk about and I come across quite a few at work.
Gary Paul Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Some shameful stats for home fans at dumpdale. You're averaging what? 12,000 home fans at 15p per ticket? Recent ex-prem club aswell. Shambolic. You sold out Friday evening, Ergo, 2500 was plenty. Why's that Gary? Because you play them nearly every year so the novelty's worn off. Mattyblue Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Ok Gary. Only way to find out for sure is for you lot not to go down for a few years...
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted December 7, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted December 7, 2015 More crowds at home at our lowest ebb for years, still higher than yours and you're back in the championship for the first time in a while, 30,000 less people in our town than your city as well. 2-1 though.
Jock Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Is this the nob who'd forgotten about the result against us straight after the match? Obviously a liar and someone who is obsessed with Rovers.
ABBEY Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 THE LAST TIME NOBBERS WON THE LEAGUE...1890 THE LAST TIME NOBBERS WON THE CUP 1938 JOG ON NOBBERS IT'S 35 YEARS SINCE YOU BEAT US. DO REMIND US WHAT WE HAVE WON AND DONE SINCE THEN MUPPET
BlueMonday Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Your supports not that bad for a side that's not won owt since Hitler walked into Auatria in 1930's. But Gav, you should have seen the Following they took to Vienna that year. HUGE!

You surely beat that figure, right? Ok then last LEAGUE visit to the turd on a Sat tea time........ You were around the promotion spots all year so no surprise there but first time back down yes we did beat that figure to Bristol and that was with Steve 'i'll wreck your football club and fanbase' Kean in charge. Fulham this season we played them on TV, lunch time KO, last season on a Sat afternoon we took 1,400+. I'm sure it was a new ground for a lot of yours hence your day trippers ! We aren't the ones who go around on others forums claiming how great our support is so I'm not sure why we even have to try and justify it but there you go.
