Kamy mentioned £8m inclusive of guaranteed add ons. He has been questioned about that and has committed to asking Derek Shaw about it in a forthcoming interview. I suppose he needn't bother now that you have done a quick search on the Birmingham Mail website.

Checking to see what the cling-ons had to say about blowing most of their budget on one striker - bear in mind it's only a few short years since I took untold amount of abuse from them for a certain Championship club spending 8m on a tried and tested lower league forward.

Gray has had the same amount of Championship experience as Gestede, but is 2 years younger, so it stands to reason he COULD go for more money. West Ham have also been in for Gray as well apparently, so this is far from a done deal.
