I don't know. Did you not ban him once?

Unless your memory is better than mine, no. Not sure what that's got to do with a sarcastic reply, Biddy. :)

I don't get the greens at all. I also don't get why they ALWAYS win the same seat. What does Brighton Pavillion (is that the right place) see in them? or is it a constituency of 1?

They have a fantastic local MP Caroline Lucas, who sticks up for her constituents rather than towing the party line.

Sorry my mistake. Back to the election....

Is she standing there again this year? Or is the new leader standing there? I actually had a lot of time for Caroline Lucas, was always very good when I saw her on question time.

Don't worry, Biddy.

Perhaps I should read more into how their economic policies work with their philosophy, but in general, politics and details don't really go hand in hand for the electorate.

Exit polls should be in soon. I reckon they *might* hint at a hung parliament. I might be wrong, but I don't think I will be.

interesting that they are thinking Conservatives have done better than expected.

316 to Conservatives

239 to Labour

58 SNP

10 Lib Dem

2 UKIP

Wow!

ConDem Government again a distinct possibility.

Actually, if those numbers are about correct, will the conservatives just try to go alone. Would they want to do a deal with a VERY weak Lib Dem party?

That's a really bad result for Labour if accurate... opening the door for a second term of Con/Lib Dem coalition.

When I went to vote at woodlands on preston old road I was the only person around I expected it to be a lot busier

Interesting poll on here

I was the only person at my polling station, a fairly small area though with two polling stations practically next to each other.

Can the Lib Dems really be as low as 10 seats?

The Lib Dems deserve to be hammered for the shameful jumping into bed with the Tories last time out.

If the Tories get back in, expect the North to suffer even more than it is doing currently, 5 more years of 'I'm alright Jack' you run along to the food bank peasants!

Aye, just didn't expect them to take that much of a hit. They infuriated a lot of younger voters with their about-turn on tuition fees, which is a fair portion of their supporters.

Sunderland South

UKIP - 8,280

Conservative - 7,105

Lib Dem - 791

Labour - 21,218

Green - 1,095

Think Labour won there, but it was a safe seat UKIP being 2nd is pretty good for them.

Rumours that Balls may lose

Case in point....

Silly boy, I work very hard for what I have, which was really affected by the last Labour government along with my future pension

:P

Bunkum, you have no idea who I vote for,

This from the one who has taken an offer to good to turn down

Clearly I do have an idea or you'd not just have spat that dummy out.

As for the rest of your post it makes little or no sense, in other words bunkum.

Sunderland West

UKIP - 7,321

Conservative - 7,033

TUSC - 341

Lib Dem - 993

Labour - 20,478

Green - 1,091

UKIP 2nd again. Again, safe labour seat.

ooh, Ed Balls on BBC - Balls Out! - Actually seems more humble than usual.

Sunderland 3 - 0 Newcastle

Makes you wonder how they can count 3 seats before anyone else in the country can count 1.

If Clegg loses his seat and Lib Dems drop to just 10 seats will the new leader prop up the Tories? He may just go for a clean break and try to salvage a little dignity.
