So the gas board and BT behead and throw gay folk off roof tops ? Your most stupid post ever .

To be fair Abbey, I think he was referring to the people at the top, in that case he would be in agreement with you? Though sure he can speak for himself and he'll be along momentarily to explain!

The energy companies(and even yhe water companies now) have us all by the short and curlys, morally they're not far behind tertorists like isis in my book, the people running these companies are total sociopaths(with almost nialistic tendencies)

😄😄

haha, cheers, but ill not bother today thanks, but the key word was "morally" and yes obviously I just meant those at the top in the energy companies pulling the strings and making the decisions without a care in the world other than making as much money as they possibly can(not the joe blows tearing up the roads, reading your meter, working in the call centres, etc..)

p.s. BT? who even mentioned them.

Cameron in Singapore was cringe-worthy, particularly if you watch the footage: "London is not the place to stash your dodgy cash" and talking about "dirty money". Give me Tony Blair any day of the week over this guy.

And now our Prime Minister has decided that migrants are "a swarm". Sure, we want our borders protected from illegal incomers, but these are people running from bad conditions for a better way of life. They're not insects.

Choose your words (or get someone with a brain to choose them for you). You're the guy at the top for crying out loud.

Why haven't they got the wives and kids with them Phil ? Why have they already crossed perfectly good countries to get to ours ?

They are scum, the French are pathetic.

170,000 migrants have made applications to live in Germany in the past year compared to 24,000 in Britain. Hungary, France, Sweden are all above Britain as being seen by migrants. as their most desirable destination. The perception that all the migrants in Europe are heading here is just a myth perpetuated by the right wing press.

Radio 4 interviewed quite a few migrants at Calais yesterday, most from Syria. They spoke perfect English, and were intelligent and articulate. They are frightened people seeking a better life beacuse their countries are in turmoil. They are not scum.

As for Cameron he's nothing more than an unctous posh boy. I cannot stand him or his party.

Absolute nonsense. Wives ? Kids ?

They regard the Germans as racist and the French (quite rightly) don't want them. Swarm was polite in my opinion, I wish Dave would grow a pair and go further.

Thought you'd be happy, Corbyn growing in popularity, I certainly am

The EU rule is you apply for asylum in the 1st country you land in, so how many countries have just shipped them through to get to Calais ?

Their goal is to survive (and that is the right word) the journey, claim asylum, and then bring their wives and children over. If your goal is to try and get your family into a country where your lives are not at serious risk every day, or conditions are appalling, then that does not make you scum.

This is primarily Sudan we're talking about, by the way. The region is increasingly war-torn and, since aid services were evicted in 2009, the situation has deteriorated. There are are no basic services for anyone other than for warmongers and the powerful. Would you be happy living in these conditions? Risking your life every time you drink water? No schools? No food sources? Men with guns harassing and torturing your family? Is it any wonder these people are risking their own lives to save their own families?

As for why they come to the UK, the UK is notorious for working opportunity for immigrants. The reputation is surely a draw for anyone trying to make a new life for themselves. While the likes of Italy or Spain are obviously far better places to live than Darfur, the economies and opportunities alone are terrible compared to the UK.

How would you propose the French handle the situation? The UK is providing funds and manpower to assist. Given that the migrants' goal is to reach the UK, that's only fair in my opinion.

Notorious ! you sure that is the right word

Have you considered that the French don't want them but can't be arsed to send them back to the country of entry to the EU ?

I can't believe all these bleeding hearts. Given that the news is dominated by the horrors and atrocities committed in the name of Islam we surely don't want any more muslims. The muslim world is rich from oil and gas so they should care for their 'brothers' as they like to call themselves. The UK and the benelux countries are the most populated countries in the world so why do we need settlers? Well we don't do we? Any sympathetic to the cause can chuck a few bob into my ideal solution ..... the South Georgia refugee camp.

You and that phrase. You're as bad as Al with his "disgusting", " ridiculous", "pathetic", et . Used so often that there's no yardstick to go off.

Ah yes. Your true colours. If a number if Muslims are terrorists, they all are. What about Irish people? Should we also have stopped them coming into the country because of the IRA?

Think you need to invest in a new board game. "Keep 'em Out" is so last century.

Some of the views and comments on here are atrocious.
