Towards the BBE ? Was that not v Fulham as well, seem to recall it. Don't forget a Tugay pearler at home to Reading similar to the Spurs one. Quality we may never see again.

I'm confused now! It was definitely at the Darwen End and I thought it was the first goal in the Fulham game and Tugay's from the corner was the second at the Blackburn End.

But if Pedersens volley in the replay above was in the same game,I can't have it right.

Help! Somebody!

No your right. Probably just me as I thought there was a similar one in the BBE in a different game but maybe not lol Tugay def scored a screamer v Reading at home towards the DE though.

Scored a cracker at Birmingham also, though it wasn't a volley, if memory serves. And Basle! Remember that match being on Eurosport, and as soon as I got home from the match we rewatched it back, but first skipped straight to the Tugay goal to watch over and over. The commentator screamed his named as he struck it. Gives me goosebumps.

Sorry I'm getting a little excited here.

Hardly any spin on that ball.

Hate watching videos of our 'old' teams. What was that, 10 years ago? Hughes was the perfect match for this club. Him leaving was the start of the second rot. Makes me want to weep every time.

Heartbreaking, Stuart.

Wonderful personal Memories sometimes ease it a little.

The biggest insult used to be on the big screen at Ewood, under Kean and after, the montage of recent years.

Used to drill home the reality of how far and quickly we fell -and how inferior the current lot were.

I find 'final countdown' depressing too. Used to love it, now it just seems apt to take it literally.

I have a morbid addiction to watching the montage on the big screen just before KO- the cup wins in '28 and '87, '92 at Wembley, the title win, the League Cup win, classic goals... it then cuts to the present day, Corry Evans or whoever tackling some other nomark in front of an empty ground- talk about juxtaposition!

No wonder it's flatter than a witch's whatsit when the teams emerge.

Maybe it's time to turn the screen off? :P haha

I dislike the video for the simple reason it's outrageous and insulting to have a video like that and not show Uncle Jack once. Somebody trying to not offend the current owners maybe?
