SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Never been so underwhelmed by a 0-3 away win. So damn sad to feel like this.

Amo Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 11 points from the place offs - still a glimmer of hope ? Shut up.
adopted scouser Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Great day, three nil away at Leeds, Leicester win and I got a Fawlty Towers box set for £12
Husky Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 11 points from the place offs - still a glimmer of hope ? It's a license to print money.
Mercer Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Just enjoy the win? Always good when Rovers win but as Simon Garners 194 says above "underwhelmed". Shut up. Lighten up !
broadsword Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Sad to admit, but we've just won away 3-0 and it's left me completely non-plussed. And at the risk of being seen as hypocritical, well done David Raya on keeping a clean sheet on your debut.
Backroom Tom Posted April 4, 2015 Backroom Posted April 4, 2015 11 points in 6 games is hard enough never mind the fact there are 3 teams 11 points above us not just one Perfect day for Raya
blueboy3333 Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Terrific win, that Tom fella knows his stuff 6 unbeaten away, just as we get that right our home form goes to @#/?. Lets get it back midweek and smash the scallies.
Stuart Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 A 3-0 away win. Cant ask for more than that. Being against Leeds is a bonus. What a shame our last two home games put paid to our chances.
onlyonejackwalker Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 As above. Very good away win. Credit to all. Hard to get too excited however.

Do you think maybe there was an element of playing for their replay places? I seem to remember people posting criticism of the previous home games, saying that the players didn't look bothered.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Consistently inconsistent...totally unpredictable and a betting man's nightmare! That's Rovers for you this season,we should have done better with what we have.
Stuart Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Do you think maybe there was an element of playing for their replay places? I seem to remember people posting criticism of the previous home games, saying that the players didn't look bothered. Possibly. I'm trying to work out if the away supporters just enjoying the occasion without expectation is a factor. Home fans need to have something to cheer about before they get going. Saying that, playing 10 men regularly can help matters.Anything but a Kilgallon - Baptiste partnership on Weds will be a travesty but who knows who Bowyer will pick. Part of our problem has been a lack of consistency from the manager; preferring to pick a specific team to "suit the opposition" rather than to win a game (by having other teams worry about us). I wouldn't mind so much if Bowyer had got results that way but when it mattered - against any decent teams - he hasn't. It's interesting when you consider Bryan Dabo's comments that Bowyer apparently told him that he preferred to play those players who will be at Rovers the following season. The fact that Baptiste and Spearing are among our best performers suggest that they will be offered deals but who knows.
thenodrog Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 I know it's hindsight, but why play him in a meaningless game? poor management. No need to take risks You could have said the same about any of the regular starters though. Why play Baptiste? Kilgallon? marshall etc etc. Radio Lancashire. Brown's injured now. At least that's something. The thought of him plodding on Wednesday, was depressing me. Stupid comment from somebody who obviously knows nothing about the game. If Rudy is out we needed Brown to play in that position because no one else is suitably equipped to provide flick ons when needed and to hold the ball up when needed. Brown is slow but he is a handful when the ball is in the air which most Prem teams hate. I'm quite looking forward to seeing Brown and King playing together against a team that plays a high line.

We should never have let him go.......................the 2nd biggest mistake Rover's have ever made - after the non-signing of Robert Lewandowski. http://www.caughtoffside.com/2015/04/01/bryan-dabo-named-montpellier-player-of-the-month/ R.I.P. Rovers
Puffsan Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Enjoyed the game today. Thank you to all the rovers fans traveling to Leeds and creating a great atmosphere. I tried to sing along to as manat songs as I knew
tomphil Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 No big deal really when you consider Leeds are our whipping boys these days. They just love to self destruct v us. Life is sweet tonight. Any beating of these Yorkshire puds ranks high in a season

Apologies, Gordon. I obviously know nothing How he's not at a bigger club, I'll never know. What an asset Chris Brown has been for us. I'm sure he'll really terrify the Liverpool defence. He'll hold the ball up, dominate in the air,be a constant menace and if he gets a chance, he'll most probably take it.
West Yorks Rover Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Typical, we win 3-0 away from home and no BBC FL Show on tonight.
ABBEY Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Great win ! Couldn't go today but haha I've still given the brother in law some @#/? ha Think I will watch the football league show tonight
Backroom Tom Posted April 4, 2015 Backroom Posted April 4, 2015 Rudy and Brown have tightness in the hammy apparently
Mike Graham Posted April 4, 2015 Author Posted April 4, 2015 A really enjoyable day out. Sat in middle of Leeds fans and a winning £10 bet on Rovers winning 3-0. Getting a weenie bit squiffy and lots of £££'s in? Enjoyed the game today. Thank you to all the rovers fans traveling to Leeds and creating a great atmosphere. I tried to sing along to as manat songs as I knew Glad you enjoyed it Puffsan....all credit to you.
Backroom Tom Posted April 4, 2015 Backroom Posted April 4, 2015 Someone tweeted that Taylor was impressive when he came on. Then again the same person also said he scored. Anyone comment on him and O'Sullivan?
