Backroom Tom Posted April 4, 2015 Backroom Posted April 4, 2015 Sounds promising, less than excited about the signing on paper but it's clear he's going to be here long term so best hope he's decent at least on the pitch

Husky Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Think I will watch the football league show tonight No you won't.
Parsonblue Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Another excellent away performance. Strange that of late the players seem to perform better away from Ewood for some unknown reason. Really could have been five or six as we hit the woodwork on three occasions. Good to see Raya get a chance in goal - I've been impressed with this lad throughout his time at the Academy and with the Under-21's. Good to see Sully get a run out and Taylor looked extremely pacey and direct. As PB said, he looks a handy lad. Thought Brown looked very good and his link up play was actually better than Rudy's. His footwork and cross for Rhodes was perfection. The back four look solid whilst the midfield improved as the game went on. A really good team performance, particularly in the second half.
Backroom Tom Posted April 4, 2015 Backroom Posted April 4, 2015 The superior away performances probably ties in with how we have picked up when hope is gone. It's a relatively young team that has been developed that are at least in part bottlers, when there is little pressure on they go out and play, when there is some expectation then they tend to buckle.
Backroom Mike E Posted April 4, 2015 Backroom Posted April 4, 2015 How did O'Sullivan get on in his cameo? And what position is he likely to play?

Spot on comments. The Leeds fans were very upset with the sending off and said he was fouled and should have had a free kick......how they can say that is beyond me.
Stuart Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Barring the FA Cup it's hard not to feel short changed by home games this season.
Andyblue2 Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Thought Brown looked very good and his link up play was actually better than Rudy's. His footwork and cross for Rhodes was perfection. Propaganda. The guy is an outright donkey and you pushing this narrative is typical.
chris_h Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Propaganda. The guy is an outright donkey and you pushing this narrative is typical. Did you go to the game?
Andyblue2 Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Yes. He's a donkey, end of. Leeds are in bits, nothing game. Might have had a couple of decent touches but overall, a much worse striker than is already here, and what we have out in loan, another pointless GB signing
47er Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Disastrous tactics by Bowyer. He has got a man sent off IN THE WRONG GAME!!!!!
A cup of beans Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Did you go to the game? How often have you seen him?People have praised a couple of his away displays at Sheff Weds, and today, but my question is _ and I've seen every appearance : When has he performed and impressed at Ewood? Certainly not against Brighton last time out/ when he won 1 flick on in the 44th minute. The cheers of those who were there spoke volumes.
Parsonblue Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Propaganda. The guy is an outright donkey and you pushing this narrative is typical. Where you at the game today? Did you not think that his movement was excellent and the way he set up Rhodes for the second goal was outstanding? Brown has been very good in away games this season and has linked up well with Rhodes. His two performances at Charlton, at Wednesday and today show that he is anything but a donkey. Over 300 games in the Football League suggest he might know a little bit more about centre-forward play than you or I.

Did you not think that his movement was excellent and the way he set up Rhodes for the second goal was outstanding? It did look like a great cross but outstanding seems slightly OTT but understandable if you feel the criticism is similarly OTTGoals here: https://twitter.com/ria_747/status/584402640068554753
chris_h Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Which games? Fulham and Rotherham at home. Was you there ? Bro still enjoying his extended Christmas break?
A cup of beans Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Fulham and Rotherham? I cant recall him playing well. It wouldve stuck in my mind. I can only go off what I've seen of him. I hope he plays as well as Parson says next season, cos he'll likely be spearheading our attack.
cn174 Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Well I've just got home via a very long train journey, but I've got to say I quite enjoyed that!!
A cup of beans Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Well I've just got home via a very long train journey, but I've got to say I quite enjoyed that!! Trouble is, we can only express ourselves and show some intent when the pressure is off.
