1864roverite Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I loved it, it was a great night despite the result. great to see Ewood Rocking. I agree with rev, Venkys might have seen a positive from last night. One thing is for sure and I have had my doubts about Bowyer, he can get it right at times. He now needs to move on and take the huge step forward. He got a second life from me. Pride in the shirt and club chaps, that's what we need.
Rover_Shaun Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Not a chance Roverite. This time next season we'll be trotting out the same old complaints or possibly worse. To want Bowyer is to want to fail. Bluntly
Paul Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Retired ? Must have been some pay off then, surely he isn't that old ! It probably was good. He joined Wolves in 1976, 39 years ago, which must put him in his early 60s so retirement is not surprising. I'm slightly younger and hope to retire in 12 months. Tom isn't fully retired, if at all, he works on the PL Arbitration Panel, the FA Judicial Panel, PL Charitable Fund Chairman, and is a Trustee of the FL Pension Fund. He joined the PL Pandl only three months after leaving Ewood.

Bluntly What absolute rubbish. I don't think those of us actually attending matches want us to fail Shaun. Some of us just have a different view to you. Perhaps one could say that those who've turned their backs on the club want it to fail - it's as valid as your argument and both statements would be clearly wrong.

Always thought he was a bit younger maybe mid 50's but thinking about it it's probably 4 or 5 years since they left. They say time flies when your having fun, can't remember much fun at Ewood in the last 5 but it sure has flown by.
